Thought it was you Twiggy - you were in my class for the training with Arise - so you lasted a bit longer than me then? Have you tried Sensee - I've just passed the first stages of their recruitment process, but maybe no work for another couple of months.0

I too am curious about working for Teletech and was rather disappointed about the actual job vacancy. (Belfast?) I am also wary about all the promises they seem to make on their website, and am concerned about having a credit check. Does anyone know if their any good companies out there - where you can work from home? I would appreciate any info.
BTW - some of you may already know this but the other day I received an email from this so called 'company'
Glacis Group LLC
from Oscar Wood [hr.dep.wood@gmail.com]
this is an invite to become in essence, a money transfer mule - they got my details from Jobsite. I realised looking at the email address it was rubbish and Googled the company - what a can of worms that unearthed.
Hope to hear from you soon re 'Home work'
Thanks

I am sure there are some great opportunities posted on here too but this place - http://talk.sureboom.com/forum.php has a lot less stuff to look through and I've taken several ideas of theirs' on board0 -
Has any heard from Teletech yet? i am on the brink of giving up all hope.
Hi Forever, I can remember you from the lengthy Arise post that has been banned from here. not sure who your were in my Arise class though. I applied to Sensee but again have not heard a dickie bird since. Really deflated with the whole working from home lark now, although i would love to continue, it seems like alot of graft to even get an interview with anyone!0 -
I used to work for TeleTech.
Please keep your expectations slightly lowered when it comes to them!
You'll have 12 minutes per call, which can at times be highly stressful for a truly awful wage of £6 per hour.
A job is a job and all that, but some of the customers won't know their way around their PC / Mac, and so a 12 minute call handling time becomes farcical!
This coupled with TeleTech's sheer ineptitude when it comes to their HR Dpt getting back to you, or not as the case may be.
I even had their Referencing people from the Philippines calling my Father at 8am on a Bank Holiday Monday, even after I'd asked them *not* to contact him, and that I'd supply alternative details.
All in all, one word springs to mind when I think of TeleTech - stress.
Good Luck to all of you, but I'd check out alternatives who pay a fair wage to start with.

I don't know where this training in Belfast nonsense has come from, but you don't. Its 3 weeks training at home, possibly might be longer now due additional tech training.
Currently we have no full time trainer, which might be why there is a delay in them getting back to you.
It is stressful. No its not the greatest pay in the world.
At the moment, everyone I know who works there is looking elsewhere, because targets being set are unrealistic, we are having to fob off customers due to the ineptitude of higher departments, and for the money we are paid, the stress of the job and the abuse from some customers isn't worth it.
Fingers crossed they will make improvements as soon as possible, but I'm not holding my breath.0 -
I work there but i'm not looking elsewhere :-D ... Ref the training in Belfast "nonsense" this is the advert ...
