LOL. Finding it annoying ... get used to that. TT is a very frustrating company to work for at times.Communication is their biggest thing. But all jobs tend to have their down sides I guess.
Tax code wise I would wait until you start and get your first payslip tbh. You only need to worry really if they put you on an emergency code.0 -

the people in livechat kept saying dont worry we will let Amy Jaeger know and get this sorted for you so the 48 hrs to complete the credit check wont start until you get that login.
its really annoying how there isnt a contact number for HR that will let me get through to someone would be faster if I could speak to someone.
also what tax code do you need for this job? I noticed many pages back someone asking for a the teletech @ home tax code, can you give me that? and do I just ring inland revenue up and give them that tax code when i begin training on 18th oct?
Thanks
Oh really - they do a credit check? I guess there is probably little point in my keeping my interview appointment next week then as my credit record is shocking :-(0 -

I hope you can help me regarding this -
Having worked for TT last year for both @Home Broadband Sales and Tech Support, I'm applying again as we speak
My only concern is regarding their credit checking, as my credit file has definitely worsened since originally applying in 2008!
I don't have any CCJ's but I do have about 6 (Unsatisfied) Defaults :-/
Do you know if this is will rule me out?
Many Thanks,

Hiya jcu,
Give them a try.
You've nothing to lose!
I'm worried about the credit check too
If it's any help, I think TT use Experian for their credit checking.
Good Luck,

Wish I could but I don't know how they work it tbh. I didn't have this done when I joined. I imagine they are only doing it to check for fraud etc. If its only minor things I wouldnt bother tbh. That said I don't know how tight they are now but when I joined they took a year to pick up I hadn't sent back my crb and 2 of my references said they hadn't been contacted!! So take from that what you will! ...0 -
They can only do basic CRB and credit checks. I know they have been doing the credit checks for some time, but don't worry, I don't think most of the people there have fabulous credit.
If your interview is successful and they think you can do the job, they are likely to give you a chance.
Don't worry about letting your Income Tax office know your tax code, TT will do that. You're not self employed, this is an actual job with wages.
If all you are looking for is an @home job to save you travelling, where you are happy to take a lot of calls of an evening, sometimes from rather disgruntled people, and you are not looking for huge wages or endless promotion opportunities, then this is the job for you.:)0 -

Well im due to start training on oct 18th mon-fri 4-8pm I'm really looking forward to it!
@ Sim, don't worry about the credit check just do it , its just a basic check anyway
the only thing I find a bit annoying is whenever I email the HR person while I appreciate they are busy they reply to some of my emails and dont reply to others. Is there only one person in HR @ Belfast?
anyway looking forward to getting started0 -
Look forward to having you with us
The questions you have for the HR team, are they ones that could be answered by those of us already working there? If they are feel free to pm me and I'll see what I can help with
Other than that, see you in a few weeks in the nesting room0
