Hi Rufff!
wow thanks for a quick reply cheers,
cool im very excited now only thing is my references will be working so if they cant get through would they write to them?
also how many references did you have to give them?
I have 2 professional and 2 character references (friends) do they need that amount or less.0 -
I gave 2 personal and 1 professional and I think they rang them all, but I put down postal and email address details too when I gave my references just in case.0
-
Thanks Rufff!
I had the offer session yesterday and they told me ive got it but they will still check references etc.
After the information offer session how long was it before you recieved your workbooth disc, email contract\ paperwork to fill in i.e references form, credit check?
looking forward to getting started, aparantly my training starts october 18th 16:00-20:00 mon-fri!0 -
Also how long have you been working for them? and how is it going for you so far?
Thanks0 -
I was with them for just over 18 months, had to resign recently as I am moving to university, but still wouldn't mind going back again during the holidays
Can't remember how long it took for my workbooth + paperwork to come through but I did post it back special delivery through royal mail seen as we were told the background checks could be delayed for weeks at that time.0 -
Thanks, anyway I got my paperwork emailed to me including contract , why do I need a solicitor to verify documents cant I get a doctor to do it? thanks0
-
Nah has to be a solicitor. They stuck up on the thing slike that. My solicitor was nasty charged me and was very stuck up lol. Looked down on me.0

Hi RebekahR ! like i said I got my welcome pack and booked an appointment for mon with a solicitor they will do it for 50 quid lol
I have a question for you though when I recieved my welcome email from HR it also said at the bottom:
"You should have already recieved an email regarding your online experian background checking which should be completed within 2 days of
reciept" I havent recieved this yet what should it look like, is it a separate email to the welcome pack?
In the welcome email was my contract, handbook for workbooth etc, and a section 1 paperwork to email or send back to them, any ideas?
thanks0 -
Ask whoever you speak to next. I joined 2 1/2 years ago and all we needed to join then was a crb. Sorry :-( I guess they do the experian one now as they have just started taking payments.0

Hi its ok they sent me the link yesterday (experian credit check) but they didnt send me a login to access it (they are meant to set this up for you) so I spent 3 + hours on livechat yesterday and emailed the HR guy in belfast that originally sent the welcome pack, im waiting for the login.
the people in livechat kept saying dont worry we will let Amy Jaeger know and get this sorted for you so the 48 hrs to complete the credit check wont start until you get that login.
its really annoying how there isnt a contact number for HR that will let me get through to someone would be faster if I could speak to someone.
also what tax code do you need for this job? I noticed many pages back someone asking for a the teletech @ home tax code, can you give me that? and do I just ring inland revenue up and give them that tax code when i begin training on 18th oct?
Thanks0
