"Unfortunately due to business requirements we have decided not to go ahead with recruitment for this vacancy. We appreciate your interest in TeleTech and thank you for the time you took to submit your application."

Has anyone else received this? and does this now mean that Tele Tech will no longer be recruiting people to work at home?

I am a little bit annoyed by this as I have upgraded my laptop to fit the requirements and I was looking for work to do while at home with my young child and pregnant, and thought this would be an ideal position for me.

Hi yes, I have had the same email. It seems, from what i understand that the contract fell through/has been put back. There are other opps out there tho. hth

Have a look at the threads on here, there has been a new one posted showing other options, i know RNIB are recruiting for home based tele agents as well. I am going through induction process with another company next week, i will be posting more once I can confirm all is legit with them, i have no reason to think that they arent - a recommendation should be just that - based on experience. so i dont want to post until i have done the induciion etc and can assure other posters that my experience is a positive one

Ah yes, I applied to them two weeks ago and have heard nothing because I live in Wales :(
  • Hi everyone I too received the email from Teletech after I had taken the tests. Annoying that will just have to keep an eye on when they are taking on again.

  • Back in November I did 3+ weeks training with TT. Nice people but alas their rate of pay was not that great. With respect to whoever posted RNIB absolutely no comparison to that. In my case I left after the training and to the wrath of the DWP. Remember if you get JSA do NOT take a job if you disclose your NI number. I made a big (honest!) mistake and am now paying for it. Personally I believed I was to start a new job and instead am still unemployed and damned poor too!

  • Okay, too many pages of info though I did try to read them. Just wanted to check if anyone knew why all the jobs are listed as Belfast? Also has anyone had any luck getting a job recently? I would love to apply.

    Thanks
