    Hi

I got a similar message on the scheduling centre (still waiting a telephone interveiw) I used the Hirepoint live chat and the advisor reset my account. I'm continuing to check it but it still says there are no current appointments. Live chat told me they dont know when the dates will be released.

    Grrr....
  • Keep in touch and let me know when you get a reply. I was recently told that they only have job vacancies for previous employees.

    Will keep you posted.......

Theres a thread on here about Arise.

Same sort of work, taking calls from home, but Teletech is a job where you are paid a fixed wage per hour, Arise is a business opportunity whereby you can either work for someone else or start your own small company. Its actually paid per call.

Teletech are fixed shifts once you have chosen them, although recently they have been subject to weekly change depending on the number of agents needed. At Arise you can choose your own hours. Teletech is a "normal" type job where the company are responsible for your tax and NI contributions. With Arise, you are responsible for your own, unless you join someone elses company, in which case you pay them a small monthly fee to do them for you.

I'd say look into both and make your decision which to go for when you have all the information.;)

I applied to Teletech last year but didn't decide to go through with the process. Would they let me apply again or have I blown it now?

    Anyone?

I actually passed the assesments and everything, I just didn't make that "conference call" we are supposed to do as I had to stay in my current job for several reasons.

I would reapply again. You have nothing to lose.

I believe that you do need to fill in all the details again.

    Good lcuk.

I have just taken both online tests and am waiting to hear if I passed or not. When I registered interest they emailed me the next day with the tests, is that normal? How long typically do you wait to be contacted after taking the tests with regards an interview?

Are there actually any positions for customer service or are they just administering test and keeping details of people they will employ in the future when there are available? Also what sectors are customer services in?

Do you have to get every question right in either tests for them to pass you? How long do you have to wait for the interview? After the 3 - 4 week training period do people normally get kept and is the training period paid as well?

    Thanks

Hi everyone - I've been waiting for the 2nd stage of the interview (the phone call interview) since end of June (having passed the other stages).

I've been communicating with Tele Tec through the live chat to find out what is going on and was told that they will be hiring, but not for a couple of months...i.e now..I've just received an email this morning saying -

"Unfortunately due to business requirements we have decided not to go ahead with recruitment for this vacancy. We appreciate your interest in TeleTech and thank you for the time you took to submit your application."

Has anyone else received this? and does this now mean that Tele Tech will no longer be recruiting people to work at home?

I am a little bit annoyed by this as I have upgraded my laptop to fit the requirements and I was looking for work to do while at home with my young child and pregnant, and thought this would be an ideal position for me.
