The hours that you have to work at Teletech are ridiculous, EVERY weekend morning! No thanks!

    We don't work mornings?

If you're referring to sales they are closing next month.

    Hi all,

I have applied and am just about to do the "online Technical Assessment of your computer". I have some questions...

1, I seen in another forum about TeleTech that the training hours are between 9am-4pm. Is this the case? If so, how did people who worked 9-5 manage?

2, Do you have to work near the phone point/socket or plug anything in to it? If I'm successful I'd rather work upstairs where there is no telephone points. I'm wondering if I'd have to buy an extension.

    Thanks in advance!!

Training hours when I did it were 6-10pm, but it may have changed. It should still be evenings though.

Yes, you will have to connect to a phone socket, as you have a phone and headset to plug in. You could have an extension running upstairs for this though.

You also need an ethernet connection for your pc as wireless is too unreliable, and often won't work at all.

    Hi there
I had a group interview on 21st April with Amy who said we would receive an email within 3 to 5 days detailing whether we were successful or not. Havent heard a thing - tried live help, emailing the generic email address I was given for Amy but not even had an acknowledgement....
I appreciate that at the moment work is thin on the ground and read the earlier posts about the sales team but just want to know either way...
If anyone has any contact details they would be gratefully received - even a reply to say no or yes if something crops up would do - sont spose anyone else attended this interview and have heard something?
  • Can anyone help me please.
I applied for a position with Teletech, i passed all the relevant tests.
I received an email asking for me to log into scheduling to arrange a day for the interview, for the past four weeks now daily and hourly even more i have checked but still nothing, i tried live help and told me that they would be releasing some hours the friday of which nothing, and another email saying keep checking.

Can anyone advise is this company bust or something, or are they just waiting for a position to become available or am i wasting my time keep checking where i could be earning money with other companies?

    Thanks in advance.

Well they are still paying me so I don't think we've gone bust ;)
I'm not sure when the next training course is but I wouldn't think it'd be long from what I've heard. To be honest though you shouldn't wait around for ANY job -if you see something else suitable it's always worth applying as in this economic climate things CAN change.
(Before anyone tries to read anymore into what I've just said-I'd give that advice about ANY job at the moment-I work for Teletech and I certainly don't expect that to change in the near future :) It's as secure as any other job (and more than some) IMO and I'd be expecting a new wave of training to be starting fairly soon.)
So yes it's just waiting for a position to come available-like most companies recruitment has slowed down as people are sticking with the jobs they have in times of economic uncertainty whenever possible.
