Hi everyone,I was hoping for some advice.
I am thinking about applying for teletech but I already have a full time job which is mon-fri 9-5. I could do with the extra income so was thinking about doing this from home.
I was wondering if anyone knows if i would benefit from this due to tax and national insurance. Does anyone know how much they would deduct? I'm assuming it would me more than normal???
Also does anyone know what the working hours available are and if you can choose the days you work? For example could I just work monday wednesday thursday and a weekend day or do they have set shifts?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks x0 -
It would depend on how much you earn atm as to how much tax etc you would need to pay. Teletech pay £6 p.h.
I think that normally Saturday AND Sunday are compulsory but maybe worth applying incase things change.January Grocery 11/3740 -

This Teletech sounds good and I have always liked the idea of working from home. However I have a full time job at present which I wouldn't want to give up until I knew whether I liked it and whether it suited me.
Does anyone know what sort of customer contracts they have and whether I could do a shift between 7 and 11pm during a week and a couple of early morning ones at the weekend. I understand all they want is 20 hours per week.
Do you get many calls coming in and what is their policy on toilet breaks, getting drinks and meal breaks? Also what happens if someone comes to your door can you go and answer it? If you start of part time how easy is it to increase your hours?
My laptop has the full windows suite of programs and I have broadband internet connection.
What customer service jobs are anyone doing?

To those successful applicants...
I applied for this and have been scheduled to have an interview, but whenever I click the link in the E-Mail they sent me to schedule an interview there are no time slots available? Is this normal?
I've checked several times a day for the last week or so...
Thanks in advance0 -

Hi Mate,
I have just been offered a position which i have accepted, I start training in a week. Cant wait!.
Try going to the hirepoint website where you applied and click on the live help. I was able to book an appointment with my recruitment consultant for the next three days after i received that email.
Anyway good luck everyone.

I have the same problem - I had to reschedule a previous interview - does it say something about 2-23 on the invitation? I called customer services and she said this means that time slots will be available from Feb 23rd and to check back then. we must just be in the next interview pool and need to wait until the week commencing to schedule our interviews.
Hope that helps0
