Outfox the Market reviews: add your feedback

As they say, “Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery”. So the people who started the “real” discussion group should take it as a compliment. 😂😂Peoples_Princess said:Well, well, well.....will you have a look at that ......Outfox The Market have changed the name of their Facebook page to imitate the REAL “Outfox The Market Discussion Group”. Which was set up by customers to help other customers struggling with this rogue supplier. Furthermore, Outfox are e-mailing all their current & previous customers, offering them £25 Amazon vouchers to join their new Facebook group. On top of all that, Outfox are encouraging the members of their new group to
blitz e-mail MSE to influence MSE’s recommendation status and get the support warning message removed on comparison results.
Clearly this company STILL hasn’t learnt it’s lesson and continues to try and cheat, influence, and silence.Even more reason to have the other platforms in place to keep these rogues in check.Imagine, having no other way to hold this company to account. Their havoc would be unchallenged.
It will all backfire though because even their new Facebook group is filling up with hundreds of complaints. Wonder if they’ll discreetly delete them like they do on Trustpilot.
REGARDING PRICE COMPARISONS. I DID A QUOTE ON MONEY SAVING EXPERT & SURPRISINGLY, YORKSHIRE ENERGY DID COME OUT CHEAPEST. TONIK & AVRO WERE ALSO AT THE TOP.
YORKSHIRE DON’T APPEAR TO HAVE ANY NEGATIVE PUBLICITY ON A GOOGLE SEARCH. LIKE OUTFOX DOES.0 -
GRANTED SYMBIO AND ZOG ARE THE CHEAPEST SINGLE FUEL, HOWEVER, THEY ARE ALWAYS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OFTM DUEL-FUEL FOR MY USAGE!0

Because our friend CLIF is a member of outfox staff. That’s why.Talldave said:Clif said:THEREFORE, OUTFOX THE MARKET ARE CHEAPEST FOR THE MANY, NOT THE FEW, ORBIT ENERGY ARE CHEAPEST FOR ABOVE AVERAGE USERS AND UTILITA ARE CHEAPEST FOR ZERO USERS!Again, incorrect. Symbio are cheapest above 2600 kWh for my region. Why not let users find the best supplier using comparison sites, rather than posting incorrect statements of fact?Silly question.0 -
MATTMIDDLESBROUGH, MSE REVIEWS ARE FROM 2018 WHEN OUTFOX THE MARKET WERE POOR AND YORKSHIRE ENERGY WERE GREAT, TRUSTPILOT REVIEWS ARE FROM 2020 WHEN OUTFOX THE MARKET ARE EXCELLENT AND YORKSHIRE ENERGY ARE BAD!0

So yesterday's sweeping generalisation:Clif said:GRANTED SYMBIO AND ZOG ARE THE CHEAPEST SINGLE FUEL, HOWEVER, THEY ARE ALWAYS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OFTM DUEL-FUEL FOR MY USAGE!
wasn't true at all, because after digging a bit deeper it seems you casually forgot to mention you were talking about E7 and after a bit more digging it seems you also forgot to mention that you were talking about dual fuel.Clif said:THEREFORE, OUTFOX THE MARKET ARE CHEAPEST FOR HIGH, MEDIUM AND LOW USERS!
Bold statements need to come with all the caveats up front.

This is a forum, you're sharing an opinion, not giving advice. We are not your clients. On forums people who capitalise their font are generally regarded as odd and disregarded.Clif said:INSPECTORPEREZ, I'M A RETIRED STOCKBROKER AND I DISCOVERED THAT CLIENTS FOLLOWED MY ADVICE IN CAPITAL LETTERS, BUT NOT IN SMALL CASE!

Maybe I’m naive, but I think one or two utility companies must have sunk to the depths to infiltrate and abuse consumer forums such as this and then the irony of posting false and misleading information by shouting at readers.1

Well all this activity has made me think now is a good time to sit down tonight, review my bills and see if OFTM is still good for me. So if Clif is a foxy-mole, we’ll done, you played yourself.inspectorperez said:Maybe I’m naive, but I think one or two utility companies must have sunk to the depths to infiltrate and abuse consumer forums such as this and then the irony of posting false and misleading information by shouting at readers. On the other hand if Clif is just a champion of money saving, and is here to encourage people to review their utility options... also well done, mission accomplished
For what it’s worth OFTM has kept my billing stable and I’ve not had too much interaction with them. Assuming they also have to follow the government rules on notifying me if they have a cheaper tariff, then I have had no such notification, so I guess I’m on their cheapest. So pending a check tonight I’ve been quite happy with them.0 -
They haven't told me when they have had cheaper tariffs! I didn't know they were required to! But I have changed tariffs twice this year after running comparisons through MSE CEC. Only saved about £3 a month each time, but the changes were easy to action. A quick 5 minute phone call each time.

Just because as a customer if i post positive feedback about OTM, you struggle to come to terms with it. Their FB page & TP reviews cant be all fabrication. If it is then so is every suppliers feedback in the UK fabricated. If the feedback is not to your liking, simply learn to suck it or else you lose all credibility with your postings. I have changed suppliers multiple times in the last 7 years, and most of the good ones are much of the same. I have never had to contact any of my suppliers in the last 7 years & ONLY going by cost I believe OTM are one of the most competitive. If you don't like it or have personal grudge against the company based on your experience, come clean & please don't call others moles. Your comments smack of desperation!0
