    Whoop, extra work got paid and I've stashed £619 away this month with a bit more to go once I've double checked my pay slip. This challenge is really helping to focus my mind and make sure I, for example, pay into my regular saver (with Virgin so it's more a limit to paying in than a required monthly amount).
  • July saving is looking pretty mediocre, as I only worked 5 days in June, but next month will be good as I have worked about 13 days in July. (That sounds really lazy, but 12 days in 4 weeks is full time, and uni only turned out for the summer on the 17th July!) Form to be done once I have done my budget tomorrow.

    £2000 for July.

    I'll hit my annual target in August which I'm chuffed about. As it is my first year working part time, I didn't know how expenses/savings would pan out, but fingers crossed, I'm fine :) .

  • Hi,

    I think I initially signed up but life happened and I wasn’t able to save/update. Can I please have a second chance and start with the aim to save £6,000 by 31 December 2018?

    If so, then I’ve managed £1,050 in July !!!128588;!!!127998;

    Hi Everyone

    Bit of re-calibrating going on here, as we've decided to do some work on the house (while I'm still earning) - which will make a big dent in this year's savings. So I'll go with a new target for 2018 of £10,000. And report £976.49 for July.

    19 paydays until FIRE (after re-calibrating)

    Happy saving everyone
