I think Spain would be an amazing addition to your self care and a great place to refresh yourself before getting back to work. You have to do what's right for you though.

You're happiness is what matters .. never forget that.

Brighter day today which always improves my mood.

Rather tired as last night I went for a very short swim. I was certain my gym membership finished on the 31st Jan but in fact it is 20th April so I want to get back into the habit of going. I am going to do another few lengths tonight. It tends to be very quiet at 9pm so I find it quite calming.

I have eaten properly today and really enjoyed the noodle thing. Very MSE and tasty after the addition of Worcester Sauce.

And tomorrow? I am going to a classical concert on my own!! Well, that's the plan.

    Enjoy the weekend
    Pauline

Well done with the swimming and eating properly :) I think you're making some very good steps forward at the moment. I would give the Spain offer some consideration - might give you time to think about what you want to do and make some plans.

Hope you enjoy the concert xx

Is it running away or is it an opportunity to invest in looking after yourself ahead of finding a job? Most jobs will not let you go away for six weeks after all.

    Just a thought!

Swimming sounds sensible, I used to like the escape form the boys. Same with running.

Physical exercise is great for stress, anxiety and helping you sleep.

Goi g to Spain; well it depends upon your reasons for going. Is it running away or is it time to nurture your soull? You could always go for a shorter time as Tea&Kittens suggested.

That's good news on your gym membership. I know my mental health would suffer if I didn't exercise regularly, so I keep at it even though there are some mornings I don't want to get up and do it!

A classical concert sounds lovely - do you know what they'll be playing? :D

    Good morning

Well...... I went swimming last night and again this morning. Only 8 lengths each time but i really enjoyed it once there. It's freezing rain here at the moment so actually it felt really warm in the pool.

So I have been out, eaten porridge and it is only just after 9am!!

I am going to listen to:

    Carl Orff – Carmina Burana
    Richard Wagner – Siegfried Idyll
Eric Whitacre – Five Hebrew Love Songs

None of which I recognise but i happened to notice it and thought that I would enjoy it as a complete change. Somehow it doesn't seem so bad to go to a classical concert on my own.

Hope it's warmer where you are
