That's awesome about the concert, Pauline, well done! Once you've done these things hopefully it'll get easier in the future. A real example of "feeling the fear and doing it anyway" :T

    Hi Pauline

So glad you enjoyed your concert and your reset 2018 has given me some ideas of my own.

  • I love the carmina thing - blast it in the car when I come out of particularly crap meetings. Always clears my head and makes me feel better, but have to admit its one of the very few bits of classical that I do know. I bet it was brilliant in a live environment.

At least you have the 3rd March one to look forward too!

  • Apparently there were 220 singers plus full orchestra. It was a beautiful noise!!

Yesterday I was wiped out. It seems I can do it but the next day I am fit for nothing.

I did go out and did some shopping. I broke my golden rule of not shopping when hungry and I had no list or plan at all.

Today I have been to the hygienist which was nowhere near as bad as I had expected. I know my teeth need attention but I seem to have hit on a great dental practice where all the staff are calm, comforting and yet professional. Just what I needed.

I have rewarded myself with a crayfish sandwich which was delicious. Again I feel shattered but it is definitely getting easier to get out of the house. I actually didn't even think about it this morning. How great is that?

Enjoy your week, thank you for your support

  • That's really good Pauline :).

Did you watch that Rhod Gilbert programme about shyness? It was fascinating (I had no idea he was shy). Apparently with anxiety it gets worse if you give in to it, so you really do need to feel the fear and do it anyway.

It seems to be working for you anyway :).
