Glad it went well at the dentist! I have a really nice one now, but a few years' ago I had one with no "bed-side manner" at all. She wouldn't explain what she was doing and on one occasion just jabbed me in the gum with an injection with no warning. I was glad when we moved house and got another dentist!0

I had a really nice dentist... then he went back to Australia.
Then I had one who was away a lot, and I mean a lot.
Then I had a superb one, who went to live in Africa.
The moral of the story is, whichever dentist Cherry is going to, find a different one!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I'm like that with hairdressers. Every time I find one I like they usually get pregnant and leave. Although my last hairdressers closed down.
And my dentist, who was fab, gave up being a dentist to go into property development.
I also went through a stage of wherever I worked it closed down after I'd been there 4 years. Been in my present job 17 years - and there is no way this place will ever close down!
Think I may have the Cherry effect too I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
