Quick check in.
Nice quiet Christmas was had. Unfortunately tinged with stress over the house sale.
Anyway solicitors opened on Monday and buyers solicitor managed to actually do some work and send the enquiries across!!! So all answered and contract and TR1 form signed, witnessed and hand delivered to the office.
Only issue now is they want us to organise a boiler service. In Jan. In a lockdown. With three weeks until we have to complete 🤦 could have been requested and done it weeks ago. Anyway spoke to our friendly plumber and I will nag him endlessly! He said he should be able to do it before the end of the week, so hoping our solicitor sent all the enquiries back so buyers solicitor can write the report. And at least they are letting us sort it.
So everything crossed for the 27th right now. Prayers and positive thoughts are also welcome 🤪 I need to start organising all our cash into one account too so we can pay the completion statement. Am annoyed that I will be emptying my regular saver three weeks before it matures. But if we get this bloody house I am past caring 🤦😂Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5 -
Woo hoo! excellent news that it finally seems to be heading in the right direct (and actually moving

Plumber came and did the service. Uploaded a copy of the service record to solicitors, just waiting to hear if they need the hard copy or not. So we have done everything we possibly can, and it's all out of our hands now. Need to confirm and pay balance to removals on Wednesday, EA will be chasing buyers solicitors then to check replies were all ok and that the 27th looks promising.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4
