That hummus recipe sounds lovely D&DD. Yum.
Been reading furiously this morning as only had snatched read ups since 'the cooker' arrived.
Jcr - can't believe you're nearly at baby day. You've only a few weeks to go. How quick has that gone?!
Have I missed any gadgets? Was up to the dehydrator as I seem to recall. I'd caught up and got the doughnut maker but none have made it to the freezer yet as predicted, Dee.
Making naan breads today to have with the curry later. Does anyone know what I add to make them like those ones with sutanas and spices in? Pashwars are they called? or is that just the make?
Oh wow! couldn't copy and paste that apple coleslaw quickly enough... just what I needed. Thanks Dee

Hi all. Nice to see you back Dee.
When dough is ready from my BM, am I supposed to knead the dough before using? My apple braid was nice but felt it didn't rise enough.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
Hi Mooky
I usually just slap it about a bit to get it nice and smooth before I roll it out,I don't really knead it again as such.
You can try rising it once it's stuffed for a bit longer,I find if the kitchens warm it rises better if OH is home and all the windows are open it doesn't do as well:rotfl:
Done the pepper humuus and carrot spread thingy both get the thumbs up from meI used to pay £1.60 ish I think in Sainsburys for their red pepper humuus as I didn't like Tesco's..shal whip up my own in future I have *ahem* another stockpile of pulses...
Both recipes were from the book 'The top 100 recipes for a healthy lunchbox' part of a set of 2 from the book people(cheap + quidco of course);)

Ahh that's the name! I wondered why all I was getting was details of canvas and rugs when I searched.
Thanks for that link, Dee.Those turkey nibbles sound nice. Just finished the last of our turkey, tho. Was intending to make a 'supreme' and rice but went nuts and ate it in a turkey and mango chutney sandwich.
Bad mum!
