Hi all - just a quick wee note.
Homealone - hi there and try to think positive. I know its hard, I have suffered from depression and know how difficult it is to be positive.
JCR - you stay on the couch and rest!
Big hugs to you both xx
On a weirdly happy note - hubby went out today and got a 42 inch plasma tv - i almost had kittens! It is that big it sits on top of the TV unit instead of in the blooming thing! Still a bit sad that Winston had to go back to the cattery but when i took him back he was really happy. So am working on hubby to get us a kitten that will hopefully settle in really quickly.
Hope you are all well
Dee - that baking looks sooooo yummy - you are making me sooo hungry!

Banana Bread
3 bananas mashed
225g SR Flour
2 eggs, beaten
2tblsp butter (I estimate 2 tblsp)
75g sugar
cream the sugar and butter till very creamy, stir in the eggs then add the flour and banana's. You may need a little milk to stop the mix being too dry. Put mix in a greased loaf tin (I use 2 small loaf tins and get 2 decent sized loaves) and bake in the middle of the oven at 180degC for an hour.
Tis yummy!0 -

Thanks again Rosie
I know who I'm going to ask when I lose a post !!
Yategirl give the herbs a good rinse in clear water, shake off the excess and blot dry with paper towel.
Lay them on the tray in sprigs, try to get one layer with no overlaps sort of wiggle them so theres no bunches.
Herbs dry really quickly on mine...usually 3-4 hrs turn them over after about 2 hours.I usually dry mine til they crumble easily when picked up and rubbed between my fingers.
Leave to completely cool for an hour or so then I usually blitz them in my coffee grinder..you can do flakes or powder0 -
