Well its Monday and how come the house gets so filthy in just two days??

Any thoughts I had of trying out the new french bread tin that finally arrived from Amazon this morning have well and truly gone out of the window.Hubby has just finished painting the ceiling in the kitchen and as I've been on my feet since 5am.I'm not sure I have the motivation to bake after I have spent another two hours scrubbing surfaces first. The last of my ebay auctions ends today and I'm hoping they'll bring enough to pay the listing fees and selling fees so that the rest of the money can be spent on tiles and freezer.I got loads of jam jars off freecycle over the weekend so I have those to clean and store ready for the jamming season to start.I'm giving the kids leftover Corned Beef Hash for tea. We've just had a big lunch and seriously doubt whether we'll be wanting anything

    stores are looking good!

Am kicking myself today... went shopping.. ds2 wanted to do the greengrocers and then tesco before the butchers (I always go the other way round...).. the butchers didn't have any free-range eggs so I haven't got any as I went the wrong way round the shops... not a problem till I started to make banana bread........... ARRGGHH!!

Morwenna - I can't get 2 square tins side by side nor front to back... I had to have a narrow cooker because of the space it was going in and am a bit stuck with it now :(

not been on here for a while as i needed to send my lap top off to be looked at as the screen kept freezing. this means i have to go downstairs to front room to use main computer. some days can make it downstairs others i cant. been feeling bit sorry for myself too. since hurt my back have gone from a size 16 to a 22. i know there are people on here so much worse off than me but have gotten myself so depressed with this weight gain that i rarely leave the house and each time i do i seem to need to buy a bigger size clothes first (thank god for ebay) doctor weighed me last week and said i was 123kg been to scared to convert it to stones. did join the fantastic post on here for weight loss but seemed to weaken every day. seems vicious circle too fat to go out and walk about a bit and wont lose wny weight unless i move about a bit. is very painful to walk more than a few steps. but saw a girl called leeanne the other day on a talk show who lost one leg due to cancer and she has brought out a keep fit dvd for people in wheelchairs so am on lookout for that. dont know if anyone remembers her but she was on jade goody sho in her search for a pa. hello to everyone and keep up the posting feel like i have many friends on here who if not for them dont know how i would make it from day to day. keep up the good work and love to you all

oohhhh pictures just what i needed to make me feel better.

i woke up feeling yuk. so took myself off to doc's as my chest was hurting so much. and i've got broncitus. so been put on a week of anti biotic stuff. it hurts to take a deep breath and when i do i end up coughing till i;m sick. and as for the pains in my tummy. doc said it all due to the virus.

so thats it i have to seriously take it easy over the next week. as i can't carry on trying to battle it. everytime i do i end up being worse.

my son is sat on sofa eyes and nose running, so he still battling against something. he refushing everything apart from drink's.

hubby just phoned me and told me he will coook dinner when he comes home. but said please don't expect it to be the cajun chicken on mela planner as he said he just can't do it. bles him. and my mum phoned and said she will take daughter to school in mornign and then spend mornign at mine doing any jobs i need.

hopefully i won't be too ill for too long. then i can start to put some decent post's back up on here. lol.( and pictures)

I do love seeing your pictures, it really does inspire me. My braid's never come out as even as yours, I think I try to cram too much filing in.

Today I have made cherry muffins and we have home made steak and onion pie with the flaky pastry recipe from this thread.

Yesterday I did the Jamie Oliver slow roasted lamb shoulder. It was really nice, I plan on turning the leftovers into a lamb curry for tomorrows tea.

Off to investigate yogurt makers now....... !

Homealone - sorry to hear you’re so low, take it slowly and do a little whenever you can. It all makes a difference. here's a slightly dodgy hug :grouphug:
