            Thanks peeps
I shall force myself to enjoy playing with it :rotfl:
This is the same as my current one (mine's a cream colour though)
I'll miss it as I've had it for 8 years now but so many things are worn out on it...This cost us £799 when Allders closed down(should have been £1400:eek: )
Can't believe this new one was so cheap
OH is now over the shock :rotfl: I've promised him a few fishing bits to make up for spending his Xmas cash 0 0

prices do seem to have come down alot on them.
i remember first seeing them and thinking then if u could get one for about £1k u were doing well.
but now they seem to be about the same price as standard size ones.
i just been looking at a new fridge freezer. as ours is 5 yrs old. nothin wrogn with it, but we had 4 house moves in 4 months and it got so bashed it looks awful.
said to hubby i want to find the excat some one. joking. and guess what i have. and it is the smae price as we paid back in 2002. i mega chuffed. can't afford it at mo. but can't belive they still sell the same one. It is such a great fridge/freezer. the fridge keeps things so cold and fresh.0

            Hi all
Dee wow what a wonderful cooker, bet you can't wait to use it.
Well as I said this thread has got me all inspired again so today I had a cooking day with my little assistant whos just 3.
 We made:
Shepherds pie -1 for dinner ,1 for freezer
 Veg soup
 curried parsnip soup
 fish pie
 banana loaf
 bread
3 butternut squash and almond cakes- 1 for pud 2 for freezer
warming country soup in slow cooker now and will add some gammon to it for dinner tomorrow.
I must say this has been a really satisfying day and I had forgot how much I used to enjoy cooking, so thanks all.
Have just done 3 letters which will all hopefully amount to cash for me fingers crossed. 2 to tax man and one to a loan company for charges.
Have lots of recipes to write out as well.0

Does anyone have a pattern or can recommend one for a ladies scarf. I havegotten from my local lidl 3 packs of wool, each pack is 4 x 50g of wool that would look lovely as a scarf for christmas pressies this year, but i'm not sure how many stitches to cast on. I know it sounds really daft but i'm not that great a knitter so scarfs are about the best i can manage for the female relations lol.
If anyone can give me a bit of advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

            Thanks Midge
I only have one size of needles and they are 4mm so will just double up lol.
