  • Thanks Deslorna, it does look fantastic, I still can't believe we've booked a week there for the four of us and it only cost £598!!! So far have got some great ski jackets at TXMax, now we are on the look out for some boots to wear whilst we are there. Shopping for the artic circle is great fun and we are so excited to be going in only six weeks time. Big thank you to Poe-Tuesday for this find.

Have a great time, you lucky people. I work in a school so wasn't able to take advantage of the fab offer, it sounds absolutely fantastic, maybe next time.....In the meantime, ENJOY!

Look on the bright side - two bathrooms means you will be out there in that lovely fluffy snow twice as quickly!

hi again if anyone knows of a nice b&b near birmingham airport which might have a family room available i would be very grateful, needs to be near the airport as i won't have the car we are travelling down on the train straight to the airport. thanks again guys i'm so excited
  • Got my confirmation in the post this morning too and have got two twin rooms which might be a problem as I didn't really want to spend the holiday in separate rooms. I've checked out the website at the hotel and it looks like they've only got 28 twin rooms so hopefully they might put families into a bigger room. Would be happy to pay a bit extra if it means we can all be together. Our discount was £1530 so can't moan at that. I'm looking at buying thermal underwear from Marks and Spencer's does anyone know if this will up to the job?

made me laugh with the receipts, everyone paid £598 for four people but everyone's down as different discounts :D

To be honest, it's probably why the rooms are such a bargain, surplus of twin rooms because most the the Santa chasers at that time of year are families.....:rotfl:

Been told by several people and read a couple of posts on here and Tripadvisor which recommended them as excellent. I believe the key is to avoid cotton for the bottom layer.
