Just checked these again (I can't go - for some reason the rest of the family don't fancy it!!!)
It was about £1000 last week for a family of four - just looked at Hotel Sirkantähti again and it comes out at £697 half board for 2 adults and 2 children leaving on 9 December from Bristol - a real bargain.0 -
Thats the fab thing about this deal, the Lastminute price is fantastic but you get an even better surprise 5 days later when your confirmation arrives and the amount discounted jumps out at you, gives you a warmer glow than visiting the big man himself :dance:FluffyFiFi wrote: »Is alcohol very expensive - is it worth stocking up with Duty Free at the airport?FluffyFiFi wrote: »If we are all going to Levi we could arrange a meeting point on a certain day/time. Could be fun - we could all be brandishing our MSE stickers!
Are you doing any skiing Fluffyfifi ?0 -

think it equates to about 75% off !
they haven't really lost anything, we're customers they would never have got because there is no way we would/could be able to afford this holiday otherwise, it's going to be a one-off holiday of a lifetime........ there again, most people on the Lapland forum of tripadvisor said that and they've been back multiple times since :cool:0 -
we should all wear a red flower or something so we all know who we are if you get my drift. I can't wait i'm more excited than the kids i think lol.0

That could be a fab idea, we wouldn't need the stickers though, the TKmax bags full of beer will give it away :rotfl:

We are trying the skiing but a bit apprehensive as I'm more a beach and hot weather girl, but the lure of the northern lights has got me hooked and I'm willing to give it a go. Will try the three day coaching and take it from there - are you around at the same time? Quite happy to wear my TK Maxx bag with pride, it would be lovely to have an MSE gathering in the Artic Circle.0 -

We're doing three days of skiing as well, Mon-Wed, trying to decide whether we do the ski school and the kids have private lessons (as the youngest is only 4 so is too young for ski-school) or we all do a big private lesson. We'll probably do the ski-school so we are away from the kids as i believe we could be a distraction to them (they'll also learn far quicker than us). good thing about ski-school is that you have a fantastic laugh, especially us beginners...it's great, there's always someone worse than you !!!!
We'll have to get together for a bit of Apre-Ski, our boys are 6 & 4 so the kids will love it.....0 -

Our's are 11 and 9, the youngest is a girl. They will no doubt be showing us how to do it but as you say it will be a laugh. We are going to do the Husky Ride, the Reindeer Sleigh and probably the horse riding as daughter is mad about horses. Looking on the Levi website it seems a lot cheaper to pay for it once there.0 -

I agree supermum4, I'm far more excited than the children. I don't think they've really taken it in as it all happened so quickly. I just can't wait, I haven't being this excited about a holiday for a long time.
