Thanks for the reply. How far in advance did you get luggage tags? All I have recieved is the invoice with confirmation of the flight details and accommodation?

The luggage tags came with the tickets. One month before travel date so about three weeks ago.

I have to pick our tickets up at Gatwick, half an hour before checking in. Apparently they made a mistake with a few bookings and tickets weren't sent out. Still, at least we know. Doing our last minute preparations now - really can't wait..although my nephew wont find out until a family meal on Saturday evening that he is off to see father christmass :D.

    .

It's not really daylight, it's like dusk really. For about four hours between 10am-2pm their time, so between 8am-midday our time.

I've got the whole day tomorrow just to get properly organised. Hopefully it's enough time :o

  • Still in Lapland now. Snow is melting as it is only just 1 C but they say it will be cold tomorrow. A bit sad now as all the snow is off the trees but it is still very cold. We have done the husky sleigh, which is great. The Reindeer's are fantastic and the snowmobiles were a challenge but I'm glad I did it. If you come out rent your ski's from Inter Sport in the main square as they are so much cheaper than the main ski company. Love Finland.
