I have to pick our tickets up at Gatwick, half an hour before checking in. Apparently they made a mistake with a few bookings and tickets weren't sent out. Still, at least we know. Doing our last minute preparations now - really can't wait..although my nephew wont find out until a family meal on Saturday evening that he is off to see father christmass

It's not really daylight, it's like dusk really. For about four hours between 10am-2pm their time, so between 8am-midday our time.
I've got the whole day tomorrow just to get properly organised. Hopefully it's enough timeEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Still in Lapland now. Snow is melting as it is only just 1 C but they say it will be cold tomorrow. A bit sad now as all the snow is off the trees but it is still very cold. We have done the husky sleigh, which is great. The Reindeer's are fantastic and the snowmobiles were a challenge but I'm glad I did it. If you come out rent your ski's from Inter Sport in the main square as they are so much cheaper than the main ski company. Love Finland.0
