Sorry for the lack of posts. Still away. Terrible WiFi and I'm hopeless using a tablet. Will catch up when I get back on Saturday.
Hope you are all warm and well.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Today is a NSD :j feels like a while since I've had one so now on 6/15.
Today I'm grateful for a really good nights sleep (11 hours  clearly was needing it), peace and quiet (I've not seen or spoken to anyone all day so far and it's been bliss), making Christmas cards and various Christmas snacks and for a cosy house while it's lashing with rain outside.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
Hope everyone's had a good day.
Work kindly bought me some Tesco vouchers which will more than cover my x-mas food shop- hurrah. Moved Xmas food shop budget into general savings.:j not sure what the figure will be in general savings yet as I need to see what damage I do this weekend and how much extra is in my wage next week for Over time but should certainly be closer to the 1k mark by the new year. I have a couple of things I need to pay for next year and I NEED to have as much put aside as possible. I feel a real relief knowing I am getting there.
Tax free Childcare finally called me back and have issued a payment for the money owed. I haven't seen it yet, but I believe I will and have the number of someone who is taking on my case. This is a real relief and I will sleep better tonight knowing this is getting somewhere. Have agreed we will treat ourselves when my eldest starts free childcare next year
Grateful for - my amazing work giving me vouchers, doughnuts and respect. heading to the new year with a clearer idea on my childcare costs now that tax free childcare is getting sorted, my hub giving me his work vouchers so I can save some more cash too, I like that although my MSE ways probably do his head in, he is happy to be a team player. I don't suppose everyone has such supportive partners but I know we both have the same end goal.
Finally made a donation of £10 to Npowers fuel for foodbank appeal, so I now only have 20 quid in the budget but I get paid in a week so that will buy my last bits of groceries0 -
Day 14
NSD achieved today 5/15
Just did a little bit of decluttering.
Grateful for:
Brisk walk in the park on way to gp appointment.
Got the Buddy Box which included The Self-Care Project book.
Downloaded a booklet Christmas and Anxiety which has useful information.
Caring person at the dentist where my Mum went, informed her of date of funeral and said that she wanted to attend the service. She wanted the date when I phoned up to inform them about Mum.

So, turtles, how is the regeneration going?
I said I'd commit to doing 10 Bunny Slope workouts in 10 days. Boy, it's hard to do after a long day. But I am on track so far.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
