  • Another spendy day but planning on 2 NSD on Thursday and Friday.

Just a quick check in today as I’ve been snowed down with work at the moment.
    February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
    NST no. NSD 4/15
  • Evening :)

1 NSD so far this month.
£200 was saved at the start of the month (26th Nov for us). When we get to £1500 rainy day fund saved we'll start to put into clearing debts. Currently £847 saved.

DH Xmas party didn't cost anything and mine won't either.

I hate post Xmas sales so that rule will be very easy to follow!

Debt free date is July 2020.

Statement of affairs is done including month by month forecasting.

Exterminating 1 bad habit - zero Gregg's breakfasts!! Too easy when for us both when we're at work early.

Removing 31 items will be difficult as we've been getting rid all year and are down to bare bones. We did get rid of 5 items a few days ago so we'll count that.

Evaluating 2017 - I got a new job. DH just got a conditional job offer. Started decorating DDs room. Bought a car (finance ends Apr 2022).

Plan 5 things for 2018 - DH getting into his new job and fully accredited. Pay off 1 debt in full. Try. Get DD into nursery. 1 date night, out for dinner etc the works - haven't done it in over 2 years.

My gratitudes for today - family swim. Warm house. Got a kiss from DD (she never dishes them out and me and DH got one today 😍). Almost finished Xmas shopping, just 1 more gift to go!

Today I am grateful for a situation at work being sorted without me having to go to the boss as she'd been copied into the email and talked to me about it, for my antibiotics doing their stuff, for finding 2x cmassy leggings for dd in pr1marni, for said shop not being busy at all!, for talking dh out of 'going to m+s to buy stuff for an indeterminate number of people', for the y7s being keen to support my craft stall on fri (half of sales are going to a charity connected to a pupil), for dh arranging a radio times offer, for the sheer quantity of strongman over the next few weeks (no mention of dr who, mothernerd), for argus sending us a £5 voucher so dh is buying some garden shears (living the high life here).

Spendy day today as I bought chocolate and a present for my friend's baby. Not bad considering I commuted for 5 hours. I resisted the temptation of all fast food outlets.

I didn't walk the dogs but the dog walker did two walks :)

I ate another frog, just three more for this week.

    Today I am grateful for:
    - navigating to London and back safely
    - interesting training
    - my dogs and cat
    - my Yankee candle advent calendar from my mum
    - yummy leftovers for tea

Sorry not checked in for a few days - been feeling horrendous and just not been bothered :(

Now up to 3/15 NSDs as spent on Saturday, Sunday and today. Bought some straighteners today, been needing a new pair for ages and found some 50% off. Also got a Christmas present for my sister.

Today I'm grateful for seeing my gran, getting away from work early, being a step closer to getting organised for Christmas and a hot water bottle.
