Maybe contact the Parent staff association to see if there is any sale of unclaimed lost property or similar coming up to let you source a few things that way. Maybe there is a parents group on FB for the school too which if you join (even as an alias) you could have first dibs on stuff others have grown out of, post a wanted thing on FB Marketplace. Citizens Advice suggests there is help for activities and uniform available via the Local Authority and they also suggest there are charities that can help - link hereSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Also speak to your local foodbank.
Ours are helping our families if need be.
Also that charity I spoke to you about before will help.

Thank you.
I have left my name with the charity shops and SA. Have also spoken to the local hub and school etc. It seems without certain outside input the support is the £55 towards the uniform. Will keep calling the charity shops etc though to check them.
I hope we get this nice weather it feels everyone else has got.
I've been up and down all night feeling sick. Hope it passes.
Hope you're all okay x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”5 -
Hope the sickness passes sooner than soon.Would it be worth contacting the school and asking if they sell any lost property/second hand toward school funds? I know Wood Street Mission in Manchester helps out with uniform and accessories- might be worth getting in touch with them.January spends - £587.585

Thank you
The school dont milann. I have to say I dont think I've got off on a positive foot with them. But I wont go into that here.
Hope you're all okay.
Officially the summer holidays now for us. Not that it will make any difference to what we are doing. But I am glad of the break from the school work.
The weather is still wet! I'm still constantly chasing my tail. Smalls are good. A few rough nights but nothing major.
Keep safe x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”6 -

Managed to get lots of organising and wiping out cupboards etc done today. Everything pretty much has its place anyway but I like knowing I've checked and wiped things down and under things are clean.
Thars pretty much all I've done all day. Smalls played nicely then watched a film.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”8 -
Nothing better than a good dose of organising cupboards. Very satisfying 👍January spends - £587.585

It makes everything feel cleaner even though you can't see it... or is that just me being weird?
Booked the uniform fitting appointment. First of the day and they are making sure its only us in there.
Recieved the cheque in the post today for the uniform grant. Its £30 not £55 the benefit advisor said. £30 for year 7 and £25 for year 9.

Cleaning out the cupboards definitely makes everything feel cleaner.
That's a shame about the uniform grant. Glad you've managed to get an appointment."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5
