I haven't got it yet. It will be a few weeks but they did have 3 there so fingers crossed they will still have one of the ones in that price bracket when I go. Free delivery and removal of the old one is a plus point too. But I feel better knowing I have an idea now. Until then bathtub washing will have to do. I've tried letting it drip more over the bath today hoping it doesn't take as long in the dryer. I don't want to break that too!
I'm going to ask about the sheets tea. I'm also going to buy some puppy pads on the 25th and try those. Thank you for the suggestions.
Need to meal plan and get prepared too. All the nicer food from xmas is coming to an end and I don't want it to get too boring now.

Would one of your neighbours let you use their washing machine in the meantime? When mine broke down a couple of years ago mine were terrific One even ironed it for me.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

Unfortunately not TF not yet anyway. Hoping when the smalls are back at school next week I can find someone to let me wash the uniforms or I'll be really stuck x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”7

Hope you manage to get something sorted with the washer - we had to get a new drier last week. I was lost without it in this weather and there are only 2 of us.January spends - £587.585

I'm sure you would already have checked, but if it's a Hotpoint or Indesit brand, check it's not on the recall list as you could get a free replacement if it is. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2019/12/got-a-hotpoint-or-indesit-washing-machine--your-rights-as-100-00/"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Evening WB
Hope the DC's enjoyed their first day back at school and you've managed to sort some washing facilities out for the uniforms etc. Any news or indication on time scales for the DLA. Surely it can't be much longer now. xx

Smalls didn't really have a good day yesterday. It's very wet DS has some mock SATS going on and they where both in moods when they got home.
I'm still really struggling MH wise. I tried to reach out to family again yesterday with absolutely nothing useful in return. I don't know why I keep trying and then letting it get to me so much when it goes no where. I'm aware of what to expect now but it still hits hard when it happens. I can't keep being upset over it and I think I just need to stop trying any more. I'd heard along the grapevine some pretty big stuff is going on for those that should be closest (happy big stuff) so was hoping it could be a way to build on it. Obviously not and it hurts we aren't going to be a part of that.
Anyway it just reminds me that no matter how different of a path my smalls take then what I'd like for them my door will always be open to them at anytime. It's definitely made me a better parent that way.
Enough rambling anyway it's school time. I have topped my phone up so will be able to pop in more x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”10 -
Bill day. Everything has gone out and been paid. Have ordered nappies and other things Like that £63 spent there. Have bought 'puppy pads' to see if it helps £6 spent there. This afternoon will be spent meal planning and planning a shop. £120 left in the bank to do this and anything else. Nothing on at school extra at least! No dressing up for book day this year.

Hi WB
Sorry to hear you're still struggling with your MH. I can understand you want to keep trying with your family but if they're showing little or no interest under the circumstances you're in with finance, DD's illness and your MH I'm not sure what it's going to take to be honest. I don't know what to suggest really apart from if their knock backs really affect you, maybe you should leave contact until you're feeling a bit stronger in yourself to deal with their response or lack of it.
Hope the pads make it a bit easier for you. Is it her illness or just a child stage? I know there's an alarm if it's the latter, but not sure if they're any good.
Just realised it's pancake day! Are you making them or letting it slip by quietly. Hurray for the non dressing up book day. That makes things a bit easier. Have a good afternoon. xx5 -
I think that's probably where I go wrong tea. I only seem to really reach out when I'm probably at my lowest. Definitely not the best time. Or really I should just forget about reaching out at all now. Easier said than done though.
Youngest will improve. It's a side effect of medications that are doing this. We are still trying to find the right balance in some things as it's been big changes overall. This issue I think will take a few months to get back to where we was at.
We will be making pancakeswe are quite boring though. Just sugar and lemon. We have plenty of flour and things already in.
Really glad about book day. It's an expense I didn't want x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”6
