Morning WB
I agree with Georgina, even the simplest celebrations are extra work and brain power on top of what already needs to be done, so don't feel bad about being relieved when they're over. The fact your dates are all so close together doesn't help either, although on the bright side if they're stressful for you, at least when they're done that's it for another year
Have you made any progress with the washing machine or finding somebody to help you out yet? Good to read you're prioritising your appointments. Have a good day. xx6 -
I’m pleased you’re keeping the appointments for yourself.Hope the little (or not so little now) ones enjoy their birthdays. I understand how stressful it is for you but admire the way you make it so special for them 👍January spends - £587.586

Hi WB
Just popping by to say hope you and the DC's have had a nice weekend. We get an extra day in bed tomorrow because it's teacher training so that's definitely a good start to the week. Hope you're feeling better in yourself and life in general is feelings less overwhelming for you. Take care. xx

Morning. Sorry quiet again. Think I'm finally seeing some light from under the dark cloud. Not completely yet. But it's been a pretty big hole I found myself in and working my way out.
Today's DSs birthday. We also received his high school place offer this morning and he got his first choice! Which I'm really surprised about tbh.
I've meal planned. I've shopped. It's tight and a bit boring but they will be fed so it's okay.
Been hit with a friend taking their own life this weekend which rocked the boat as it's so out the blue. Find myself wondering if I could have done more but I realise probably not. Although I do struggle to make time for most things. I guess the balance there is still wrong. But youngest and the other two smalls do come first.
I have a washing machine. This makes a difference to my mood and anxiety.
I'm quite worried about this virus - not for myself and not really the big two. But for youngest it's scary. I can't keep them all home so the bigger two will be mixing in large and small groups. A simple cold is life threatening and life changing for youngest. So it's making the anxiety about illness high.
Anyway I don't think I have much else to update. No money in any budgets left as usual it feels a long time until the 25th again. Lots of stuff still going on. My appointment tomorrow - wish they weren't so far away.

Happy birthday to your son and Well done for getting into your first choice and a special congratulations to you Wannabe, you are a massive support to your children , I am sure he will do well in his new school. Sorry budgets are so tight but good news on the washing machine, wish you were not so far away as I have a nearly new one in the shed. I feel your worry about this virus, most people can get by without worrying but the old, young and the vulnerable are most at risk. Take care x8

Hi WB
Happy Birthday to DS and congrats on him getting his first choice school. I was reading 20% of children won't so it's great he wasn't in that figure.
Sad news about your friend. I often wonder how thin the line must be that they cross to make that decision. It's hard to comprehend how hopeless they must feel about their situations.
I'm sticking my head in the sand with the virus and try not to read the statistics, which at the moment aren't making as grim reading as 'general seasonal flu figures' but I can imagine how worrying it is for a lot of people especially if immune systems are already weakened.
Hope DS has a good day at school and likes his gifts and cake that I'm sure you'll have madexx

Great news about DS’s school choice. So sorry to read about your friend, absolutely dreadful. I can understand your concerns about the youngest catching the virus, it’s such a worry.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Yes it’s definitely a worry about the virus. Try to keep it at the back of your mind though - easier said than done I know.
happy birthday to ds - bet they pleased about knowing his school - hopefully he’ll have some friends going with him.

Well done and happy birthday to your DS. And well done to you for so bravely coping with the dark cloud.
And it's great you have a washing machine.
It's so sad about your friend, but I think you are wise to say you probably couldn't have done more. If you didn't see this coming, how could you have known to do any differently?
Re the virus, I know there is a lot of media attention on it but at the moment fewer than 1 in a million UK residents has it, which is helpful to know. I do understand that it's a lot more worrying when someone vulnerable is concerned but I think if it came into your vicinity you would keep littlest at home anyway, and apparently the actual virus doesn't last long outside the human body, creating a natural barrier between her and any infection that came near.
