Yes, I get it. You've got to do what you've got to do at the moment. Maybe you'll be in a better position to make a decision in November.

I got all worked up then thinking your DLA date wasn't far off :o xx

It’s just disgusting the length of time you (and probably many others too) have to wait for the decision about DLA - just awful.
The weather has been so wet these school holidays - depending when you broke up maybe you had the first week which was lovely. Our schools were still in that week and the weather changed as they broke up and there’s been an odd sunny afternoon between the rain. Dare say it’ll change to an Indian summer as soon as they go back in September.

Sorry things aren't good at the minute. Best to wait until you're really sure until you let go of the jewellery, what a shame you had to do it in the first place though :(

    Thank you

We didn't get out, it's not stopped raining :( It's just too wet! I will definitely need to go out tomorrow though and extend the jewellery - probably works out better actually as the nurse called (and I'd forgot :o) and now we have an extra prescription to collect tomorrow.

Easy dinner this evening - they are making pizza to use up bits. I think they can have an earlier night and watch a film. It feels like December not August!

Smalls fed and are in the bath. I have some ironing to do and my floors. Outside is still covered in polystyrene balls. I had a go at sweeping it earlier and it was impossible. I'm not sure how I'm going to clean them and I can guarantee once I have figured it out the ones from the rest of the street will land outside mine and it will have been pointless.

Fingers crossed there's a break in the rain tomorrow and we can get out x

Annoying about the polystyrene balls. They probably need hoovering up but not sure what with. If they were just on the road I'd suggest ringing the council to send a road sweeper round but I bet they're all over aren't they.

Weather is really getting on my nerves now. I don't mind a bit of rain but it really does feel like it's been non stop since schools broke up. Milann's right, as soon as they go back it'll be cracking the flags.

Did CRISIS ring you back and did you get something sorted? xx

They did call back tea. I have an emergency appointment Friday x

I've been out trying to clean the polystyrene up it's impossible. I wonder if it's something the council will clean?

The rain has been non stop hasn't it? It does make it difficult I think x

It might be worth a try if it's really getting on your nerves. We're on a side street and often get missed for road sweeping. Hubby rings them when it needs doing and they're usually here in a couple of days.

Glad you got an appointment. xx

I'm glad your appointment is now within sight.

We drove through the rain not too far from you today and it was seriously heavy - slowed the traffic and we saw three 'incidents' (don't know details) on the motorway, very likely brought on by the weather. It can't last forever though.

It's just a mess Tea and it keeps coming in the house on our feet. It looks awful too (I mean as you know it hardly looks reasonable here on a good day lol so you can imagine how bad it looks now)

Thank you cherry. It's been awful. The thunder was so loud before! I really don't like thunder and lightning but try not to let the smalls know so they aren't afraid but I jumped out my skin :rotfl:

Glad you made it safely on your travels I hope you have nicer weather than here!
