I think it does show how much impact debt and financial worries have on mental health. It really hit home hence the use of online to search about it and see the comments etc. To most it seemed not a huge problem amount. £1000 is a whole years grocery budget for me and probably even more to some. It's just frightening. I sit and think I can't wait until we can be 'living' not worrying about needing some paracetamol or an extra loaf of bread etc. But I am still so much luckier than some.
Anyway finally got everyone in bed. We where very late tonight. Have a busy day tomorrow too. Have some things to collect and sort in town, hope the weather is kind so we can do something 'fun
Really hope I get some sleep tonight it's starting to catch up all the broken rubbish sleep.
Have mealplanned hoping to keep the grocery bits under £10.

I watched that programme last year. It was so heartbreaking and I was with the chap with every bit of panic, stress etc. I knew exactly how he was feeling
It's just such a shame that so many people don't know where to look for help and advice, the outcome could have been so different if he'd stumbled across a forum like this."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I saw the school uniform on tv this morning too and thought of Wannabe.January spends - £587.580

Afternoon just popping in why having 5 minutes. We've been to sort the uniforms and things. I've spoken to the crisis team and awaiting a call back. Need to go to the pawn shop to extend some items so I don't lose them. We need to call in Mr L for some fresh bits on the way home. Have my list and hoping to keep it under the £10.
Thank you susie there isn't grants here and the school don't help. I've got people looking on social media for me and I keep an eye on other online second hand places. I've also told the workers at salvation army if any come in to keep them by for meYoungest is sorted for school shoes and uniform now. Just shoes for the older two to sort and the list for DS'S residential.

Hi WB
Is the crisis team because you're not feeling great or is it for DD?
Uniform seems to be a big problem for a lot of people at the moment and quite often even close family don't realise the struggle.Mum has just had to help my brother out to the tune of £40 for PE kit for his DC who's moving to high school
Glad you've managed to get out for a bit of fresh air. Hope you managed to dodge the downpours. xx0 -
Just sending you hugs, W.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

For myself tea. I'm just struggling I'm sure it'll settle. Just wondering when I'll get sorted and get a break tbh so fed up
Uniform is awful isn't it. I'm really lucky in the sense I have received help for it or I don't know what I'd have done.
Food shop done just over £8 spent. Along with £7.50 bus fares for the smalls. I lmow I can't keep falling behind on things/skipping things to manageneed a miracle really to juggle everything.
Thank you TF hope you're well x
