  • I am with you on the uniform thing, my GS just has ordinary polo shirts , sweatshirts and trousers. He does have a school sweatshirt but only one. His whole uniform only came to around £25 mostly bought in a sale. A colleague at work her daughter has a very expensive uniform around £75 , ridiculous for a 4 yr old.

Hope you are able to get the meds sorted , so you feel more on an even keel . Hope the weather improves tomorrow.

    Morning

Still waiting for my phone call back

This morning I really need to go to the pawn shop and extend the items in there. They've been there over 2 years :o I just keep renewing them. It's jewellery and things I received when I was younger for my 18th/21st. Maybe I should just let them go now instead of keep renewing it :o I think I'll do it this time and then if the DLA etc isn't sorted for the November date I will let them go.

No other plans today. We will go to the salvation army why we are down near there anyway and need to drop a letter in the post because I keep forgetting it :o

It's raining so I'm sure we will end up soaked again! Where's the sun :(

Have a lovely day and thank you for stopping in

I suppose you need to think will you ever wear the items.
Do they have any sentimental value to you. X

Morning WB :) Blimey, CRISIS hardly seems the right word does it when they take so long to get back to you :(

How does the pawn thing work. Do you have to pay to extend items or is it just something they agree to?

Didn't realise you had a date for DLA and it's November too :T Thought you'd have to wait well into next year from what you've previously said. Would be lovely if it was all sorted this year so you can start 2020 in a much better position.

Raining here too - again. Summer hols have been pretty miserable weather wise so far. Have a good day and I hope you get a phone call. xx

ETA : I may have mis read that. You may mean the pawn shop date would be November.

It is items I'd wear every day beanie if I had them. It's things I got from relatives that are no longer with us for birthdays but normal jewellery not costume if that makes sense. It's just obviously not a priority in the situation I'm in currently.

Tea I haven't really confessed about them being pawned to anyone. You pawn them for 3 months then you either pay the 'fees' as an extension or pay to 'buyback the items which is the amount you received when pawning plus the fees if that makes sense. November will be when its due to extend the pawn shop.

It's still really raining so we haven't left the house yet :o

Shame about your jewellery. Does it have sentimental value?
