Have brought DS1’s old age 10 plus clothes down from the loft, ready for DS2. I have far too much stuff. Let me know what you need for the residential trip and I’ll send you a parcel Xx

Pleased you’ve got the uniforms.
I am on a site that shares memories of the area I grew up in and a school photo of my school year popped up. I wasn’t on it but my friend was. We were looking at it today and not 1 child wore uniform in primary school and we could all read and write by the end of the juniors. I can understand wearing school colours but the badges are a money-making gimmick for schools.January spends - £587.580 -

I think if schools want their logo on the uniform, they should specify a colour thats easy to buy in a normal supermarket, and sell the school logo in embroidered patches that can be ironed or sewn onto the jackey or whatever they need to be on. It would save a lot of people a lot of money.Credit card debt - NIL

Thank you all
I don't really have anything outgrown for DS. All 3 of then only have 3 outfits each in total then a set of uniform. So nothing really 'spare' plus it says joggers/tracksuit bottoms/shorts and he doesn't have any of them
Thank you so much Lucky.
Susie our uniform colour isn't in any supermarket. It's a horrid colour too. Although I have bought supermarket 'yellow' polo shirts. Schools are 'gold' so a lot darker than the supermarket yellow but I'm sure they'll be fine and if I not I'm sure they'll tell me
Today's been long.
Hope you're all okay I haven't had chance to catch up but will soon.
Thank you again

Evening/morning.
Another busy day but mainly at home today. It was dry so got the cleaning done this morning and my ironing. We then walked to the park after lunch. When I got back I made a start on tackling the polystyrene balls. I was out there till it went dark around 9.30 and it still looks a state.
A NSD. Good job after the spends the previous two days.
Tomorrow is another home day and will get planning next week's things and meal plan etc.
Hope you've all had a good day

Happy Sunday
Hope everyone's well.
It's dry here so been cleaning outside. Have a sort of Sunday dinner cooking using up the veg that looks very sad. Also got some soup in with the worst bits.
I don't seem to have anything mse to say. Another NSD I guess that counts as mse.
This week we have a few appointments to get done. One involves the train to the city and at least one other day will mean bus fare. We will walk to the closer ones. We will also go to the SA this week to look out for the bits for DS.
meal plan needs doing and shopping list writing.
Hope you're having a lovely Sunday.

Hello W
When the council put insulation on the exterior of our building two years ago they used polystyrene blocks which, of course, the children thought was great fun to break up. That was apart from all the little bits that were left over when they cut it to size. I'm still finding bits so I really sympathise with the mess.
Hope you get all the bits for DS and it doesn't cost too much.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
