“Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.”

Hard to determine if it's something else or just the situation making me feel so rubbish. Worth a check once we are home though. Feel like I could just sit and cry tonight

Youngest is feeling better though and for that I'm grateful. Other two are fed and sleeping another thing to be grateful for. Lots to be grateful for. Instead of looking at all the negative.
Still can't wait to be home and things be back to normal though. I miss our routine and simple the simple things.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
You've been through a lot the last 9 days and being in hospital is really hard. Its like being in a bubble where you have no control over routines and can't predict outcomes so it takes you out of your comfort zone. At least thats been my experience and its such a relief to get back home to your own routine and to have your things around you.
It you 'need' a cry then have one, you might feel better after. You've held everything together really well in what is a worrying time and situation and now the end is in sight so you may well feel emotional. Be gentle with yourself

I think if it were me, I'd probably had a bit of a cry by now. Coping is so stressful, and you don't get much time to yourself or 'off duty' which adds stress to stress.
Not long now till you are home with your own coffee and your own bed and on the way to getting the equipment to make life easier for all of you. xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Once or twice I have had "a really good cry" - it sounds weird but it was just like releasing a squirting tap. A real release of tension, pressure and all the emotion we put into that. Joking apart, it might be really good for you.

Wannabe, I follow along but don't usually have much to say to help but must just say what a star you are. 9 days as a nomad in a hospital with no privacy, nowhere to sleep, very little cash and a poorly little one all 100% on your shoulders. That would easily defeat just about anyone. I don't think you recognize your own strength. A darn good cry in the toilets might just release the stress enough for the last day or so when you can start to look after yourself better as well as your children.
Take care x0 -
Morning WB
Big day today with the meeting and then it's just one more night to go and you'll all be home and back in your routine.
I think you ask a lot of yourself at times and nobody is going to think any less of you for having a blooming good cry every now and then. I know you have to be strong and put on a brave face but sometimes looking as though we're coping and taking it all in our stride can mean we get overlooked when deep down we actually need some help. xx0 -
Sorry its been so hard but you have done totally amazing things to keep your children well and at school etc. Great that you have decided to go to the docs for your self too.
