It sounds exhausting Wannabe, hope you get off home tomorrow and that it all brings some answers.

Also glad to hear you made an appointment for yourself, please do go even if you feel better once you get home.

When my eldest used to be in hospital a lot - for long spells - a good cry got me through. It goes with the territory and is perfectly ok and normal - a mums coping strategy. I could put a brave face on with the family but then on my own used to crumble and I felt better for it every time.

Hope you get the answers you want today.

  • You must be exhausted Wannabe and that alone is enough to make you feel emotional, let alone all the other stuff you have on your plate. I'm sure you'll feel much better once you get home, so fingers crossed you can go home tomorrow.

Thank you for all your lovely replies.

Just waiting for the older two to finish.

Today went quite well. We won't be home until Friday though as she needs something else testing for the specialist and it can't be done at home it might only be another day but it means putting the older two back in school care for tomorrow and Friday.

Today has been worth it in so many ways though. We have a much better action plan in place and it should mean less a&e visits etc as everyone will know the correct path to follow and we can bypass a&e for some things now.

She's definitely feeling better now all her meds are back in her system.

    Xx
