  • You need to take a look at yourself through the perspective of how others see you. Bringing up 3 children alone with virtually no support, addressing your financial situation and doing your very best for a child with complex medical needs.
You always put your children first and they will grow up as incredibly balanced individuals that see what actually matters is not your bank balance, but how you deal with life and all it throws at you.
You are doing an amazing job in a time when rampant consumerism is the norm. The I want it now, regardless of the cost society.
Your values are the right ones and in years to come your children will realise their home life was the absolute best, and it was all down to you.
This country at the moment would be a much richer place with more people around like you.
You are one amazing lady and have a lot to be proud of.

This is completely true and I agree 100% :T.

Today has been busy, after having nothing to do this morning! I have only just got home. Not a NSD had to pay bus fare and after being out over 2 hours I gave in and bought a drink :o makes me mad I should have taken one with me but didn't expect to be out so long. Anyway it's done.

We are finally home, dinner is cooking and smalls are playing why they wait. Then it's bath time and bed time and I plan to sit and do nothing once they are in bed :o It's been a rough day and I can't wait to get on the sofa with a hot drink, hot water bottle.

Hope you've all had a good day :)

We are all ready for bed, including me :o I'm so tired. I have no reason to feel low and anxious now but I still do which in turn makes me angry at myself making it worse :o Feel bad posting that here :o

I missed DS's music performance today because my appointment took so much longer than I thought it would so feel terrible for that. He really didn't mind but I still feel awful. Apparently he did really good though his teacher stopped me to tell me how hard he'd tried. One of his friends had an accident, so he's had a hard day too. We've spoke about it and he seems okay and has gone to bed to watch a movie.

Just been one of them days. Youngest is tired and over emotional and it's only Tuesday! Her new meds seem to be working on keeping her breathing well though. I hope it continues working longer than the last lot as we really are on the last thing we can try. It worries me :o Still 100 things whirling around :o

bit of a pointless post all round :o

Not a pointless post if it helps you get the stuff out of your head. This is YOUR diary, so you should feel free to post what you like - and if you feel like you've overshared you can always go back and remove it, it's your call.
I'm sorry you missed what should have been a lovely moment for you and DS though, but it really couldn't be helped in the circumstances sadly. Perhaps he could do a concert for you and the other smalls later in the week? You could make score cards and be Simon Cowell

Oh that's a good idea, he brings his instrument home too so he could.

His teacher said there is going to be another in a few weeks and today was just getting them ready so I will get to see the full performance not just the practising it just made me feel bad he had no one to watch him.
