Well I'm done for the night. Except youngest's pinafore needed re-washing so waiting for it to dry then I can iron it again - Kids!

On the sofa with my cuppa and hot water bottle. House clean and everything ready for morning.

Smalls all tucked up and sleeping.

Just need to iron the pinafore again then I have nothing to do. I don't like having nothing to do :o

I hope it's dry tomorrow so I can clean outside! It's desperate. I might have to do it in the rain if it doesn't stop :rotfl:

    How to make it work.

Rent - includes weekly rent and £25 a week of the debt

CT - £12.50 to the debt & £25.60 for this years (this should be less in April when the new bill is here as this years has been paid over a shorter time)

I need to keep an eye on the electric/gas. It was tight last week and we ended up in the emergency credit. Must try harder! But it has been colder.

Water/TV licence I can't change. Phone credit is already the minimum £5 a month.

Food - I need to keep a tight grip on this. Meal plan, save left overs, don't put too much on their plate and limit snacks etc. Try not to make it too much of the same week in week out.

    'Other things'
I think school is reasonably quiet so shouldn't be too many unplanned expenses there - other than DD school shoes & DS trousers & girls tights.

Birthdays - I will bake their cakes. I have a card to them and they can make them to each other. We will make decorations. Dinner will be something we have in and we will pop some corn we already have in and watch a movie on Netflix. I will find a small gift for them nearer the time.

Travel - I've been lucky so far youngest hasn't had appointments in the city or through the other side of town - however there is going forward! I will use the bus (not in walking distance) and will try and make them in school time so it's just my bus fare.

I think that's everything in the 'other than listed' Maybe I've forgot something and will need to edit :o

Just so that readers know the council tax showing & the rent are all arrears.
So still a fair way to go.
But what an amazing start to the year.

Yeah Beanie, I'm not debt free (that will be November time I think) Then things will look double amazing :o

Don't get rid of me that easy ;) :rotfl:

Thank you SA it's such a huge relief it's gone. Just waiting for the interest when the statements produced and then I'm cancelling it. I was going to keep it for 'emergencies' Well the only emergency really is the rent nothing else is a true emergency. The rent is an eviction suspended while making the repayments court set so if I break the agreement they can go to the court/bailiffs for the eviction even if it's only a few days late. So far they've been understanding but this time I felt like they where at the 'fed up' of making agreements to catch up on the agreement. So I need to be cautious and make sure that my rent is my 100% priority now.
