    All of it Beanie.

I owe the £350 for year 2017-2018 which I pay the £12.50 a week too (was £25 a week until last month)

This years is £256 outstanding (£25.60 a week until the 24th March) I'm not behind on this one so don't include in the debt. It's more a week as was spread over a much shorter time by the time it was all sorted.

ETA It was originally set at £25 a week when it was over £1000 outstanding in April last year. So it ran along side this years bill and both where finished before April 19's bill started.

  • £5.75 hit the bank from PA.

Spent the afternoon on the phone. Spoke to DLA things seem to be moving forward (at snails pace but better than no movement) they are still waiting on some documents from the consultant. Have called the consultant and spoke to his receptionist who said they where sent on Friday (that's over 3 weeks since I asked and was told they where being sent ) Anyway they should hopefully arrive this week. At least it's not been a straight we aren't changing our decision. I'm hoping this is good news!

Called in the supermarket after the school run £8.72 spent. Why's it always more when the smalls come? Anyway got everything we needed (bread, milk, juice, toilet roll, fruit, lettuce & onions)

Local MP has called today and is going to fit me in with an appointment to see where she can help. Awaiting a phone call back with appointment times.

School are covering the cost of DS's trip :) They said if I can contribute something then great however not to worry if I can't he will still go and he won't know if I have/haven't paid.

Tomorrow's tasks include speaking to the local young carers group and also somewhere that offers respite. Thank you for all the pm's with the advice and help on these things. I wouldn't have looked at half of these without the advice I've been given

Ditto what PLMBL has written. You sound so positive and in control of things Wannabe. You also seem to be starting to believe in yourself. So glad you're looking into carers and respite and that you've got your MP on board - you're not expected to do all this on your own you know. ;)

Just need that DLA to come through now and crack on with the debt busting. I have a feeling this year is going to be a good one for you. :)x

I'm glad there's some movement on the DLA. Will you get backpay if it's awarded again?

Great news on the MP appointment and school paying for DS's trip :T.

    Thank you :)

I think it is HH if they decide to award it I think it's backdated to when it stopped. I haven't asked :o I just hope they decide and it doesn't take long then if needed the next step can be started or at least I know where I stand.

I feel like I sorted quite a lot today but I still feel really on edge and worried :o I don't think I have a real reason too.

In other news DD is asleep! That's the earliest in weeks and weeks. Must have been a busy day today for her too :rotfl:

  • Just delurking to say I once contacted our M.P. when I had a problem with the education authority. They were very slow finding a place for my eldest son who is autistic. Things moved very fast after he had written a letter.
I wonder if you could tell your older children that it would help a lot if they accepted free school meals for a few weeks. perhaps let them keep a bit of extra pocket money as a reward. I think your oldest boy is probably old enough to understand how tight your budget is.
Like others have said I think you are doing really well.
