    Morning :)

Good thinking SusieT I will wait I think until the next min payment is due then pay it over then I don't get a missed/late payment or overlimit fee next month too. I've added to my calendar and diary when it's due so I can't mess up.

Thank you AdventureWanted. We love Twinkl and find a lot on there links with what they are doing in school so can find things to do at home which links to their school work.

Thank you Teafor2 have replied, I agree she would probably get more done.

Today won't be a NSD. I need some more bread (thanks kids!) and I think I will get some apples for smalls. There was something else I needed that I can't remember now :o

Have decided I'm not going to do anything with the £5 from PA yet. I'm going to hold on to it until the min payment is needed for the CC

    Afternoon (just :p)

How lovely is it to see the big bright yellow thing in the sky today :D It's still freezing in fact it feels colder today but it's so bright :) Always makes me feel so much brighter too. In effort to fight the anxiety rising I have spent a couple of hours cleaning. I love the clean feeling now I'm sat having a cuppa.

I didn't head to the supermarket. Will leave it for another day. Will make flat breads for the smalls pack lunches tomorrow. Must remember to buy enough for lunches and pop it in the freezer so this doesn't happen again next week. The girls will protest at cold flat bread :o but one day won't hurt.

Hope everyone is having a good day

Hi Wannabe. I am sorry if you have answered this before but don't the smalls qualify for free school lunches?

They do but none of them will eat them :o and my smalls really aren't fussy but say they are disgusting :o I've tried them a few times and they end up eating nothing.

£5.75 hit the bank from PA.

Spent the afternoon on the phone. Spoke to DLA things seem to be moving forward (at snails pace but better than no movement) they are still waiting on some documents from the consultant. Have called the consultant and spoke to his receptionist who said they where sent on Friday (that's over 3 weeks since I asked and was told they where being sent ) Anyway they should hopefully arrive this week. At least it's not been a straight we aren't changing our decision. I'm hoping this is good news!

Called in the supermarket after the school run £8.72 spent. Why's it always more when the smalls come? Anyway got everything we needed (bread, milk, juice, toilet roll, fruit, lettuce & onions)

Local MP has called today and is going to fit me in with an appointment to see where she can help. Awaiting a phone call back with appointment times.

School are covering the cost of DS's trip :) They said if I can contribute something then great however not to worry if I can't he will still go and he won't know if I have/haven't paid.

Tomorrow's tasks include speaking to the local young carers group and also somewhere that offers respite. Thank you for all the pm's with the advice and help on these things. I wouldn't have looked at half of these without the advice I've been given

After that long update. The plans for this evening are to bath the smalls once they've finished eating their dinner. I have done the cleaning today so it's all done and tonight I can focus on hunting out things to list on eBay. I just have the ironing of the uniforms to do once they are dry.

Hope you all had a lovely day

Shame about the school lunches Wannabe. Mine would never eat them either - was all turkey twizzelers back then. I had thought that they were supposed to have improved after the Jamie Oliver programme.

On a related point your school is entitled to a pupil premium for children entitled to free school meals. I think they get an extra £1300 per child to ensure that children from low income families have the same opportunities as children from higher income families.

It might be worth checking with the school to see if they are drawing this money down for your children. Although you can't dictate how it is spent, it might mean they can waive your school trip fees. Sometimes it is quite helpful to let them know that you know that they are getting this extra money......if you know what I mean :)

I am really glad you are seeking and accepting help, you shouldn't feel guilty about it. You need to remember that the giver often gets great pleasure from doing so :)
