Smalls eating dinner so having 10 minutes and a hot cuppa while I wait for the washer.
Today is a NSD
Going to try for an early night tonight if the smalls settle as well as last night. Feeling a lot more organised now I think I'm just waiting on everyone getting back to me. Pharmacy hasn't delivered yet so will chase them tomorrow before we reach weekend and we will be close to running out of things

Goodness she must be a fesity little thing taking on a boy who's 2 or 3 years older than her - good on her
We always advocated DC's standing up for themselves in playground squabbles. Of course schools don't like it, but our theory behind this was there won't always be a teacher around in their life to sort things out for them.
Glad DD had another good day. She seems to have settled in well so far doesn't she. xx0 -
She is okay once I've left. But they haven't started doing anything with her yet (she's been watching cartoons and basically doing what she wants
) She still keeps getting upset but they bring DD1 down to see her (which really makes me mad!) but she does seem a bit more settled. “Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Does she need support in the classroom or do they let her do what she wants because she gets so upset? They shouldn't really be relying on bringing DD1 out of class, it's not a very professional back up plan and in the long run it won't be fair on either of the girls. x0

Good for DD2

I think it's a bit of both Teafor2. She's a weird one :rotfl:
We have been reading while waiting on the other two to finish in the shower. They are going to open a parcel that arrived today and then head off to bed. I hope youngest follows last night and is asleep at a reasonable (for her) time.
My list for Friday is growing but it will feel good to get it all done in town on the same day. It's not far but it might as well be how much I work myself up about having to go
Need to refill the baked goodies tomorrow, so at least that's something a bit more fun on the to do list with all the boring but important things.

Have you tried putting a search in to the Internet for 'unusual things to sell on Ebay'? The things people will buy!! Toilet roll centres, etc. But there might be some cash in it for you.
I'd be concerned as you are that your DD1 is having to visit the little one on a regular basis. Being a sibling of someone who had pronounced medical needs, I know that my parents did their best to make sure my sister's and my life didn't entirely circle round his, but the effect of sharing my childhood with my brother has had a profound effect on me and, I suspect, on my sister. Much of this is positive (for instance it's the reason I do the job I do, which I love), but some of it was difficult at the time. I do wonder at the teachers taking your DD1 away from her own classes to help them with her little sister - but it may be DD1 is already skilled at helping her.
I'm not keeping up with posting very well but I'm following your progress with admiration! It's amazing how much you are accomplishing. I hope you are able to wind down sometimes, that can be the price of accomplishing a lot.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
