Thank you I'm going to have a good read and read over it again tomorrow with fresh eyes.

Of course you can Wannabe. I am definitely not clever! I have had to 're learn a lot but it's good to learn together. I was sat up for hours the other night trying to learn how they now teach multiplication as it questions on DS on line app were set out different, but I managed it and was able to show DS.
Your DD just needs to paint, colour, read, bake.. all things you do already, she is learning a the time.
There is a lot of support groups out there. I'm not sure I can write it on here but home education UK and home ed our special needs children have been fantastic Facebook groups. I know DS is a lot older but I know AdventureWanted home ed's similar ages to your DD.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Good to see things are slightly better financially for you WF. As for home schooling your youngest it sounds like a practical and sensible idea , which I hope you look into .

Morning
Hope everyone is well
No real plans today, just pottering and cleaning. Need to make some pastry so no doubt the smalls will make something sweet out of the remainder.
Still really quiet on the survey front but still keep refreshing them and having a look.
Smalls are playing why I have my cuppa and watch an episode of Gilmore girls then we will get started.
Have a lovely day all

Can I ask when children started going to school so early. I was five and a half before I started as my birthday was in December and I missed the summer intake. It was along time ago but I'm sure it's still much the same here in Scotland. The two little ones next door went to nursery from age three (mornings only) and start school proper at age five. I could be wrong that this is not the case everywhere. Anyway, I agree that at three and four they learn through play and I'm absolutely sure that you could homeschool her. Actually, I think you're probably doing that already although not formally,
I'm glad to see your budget is looking a bit healthier now and you seem so much less stressed.
I'm actually just checking in to say I'm off tomorrow and won't be back till 8 February. I can read on my tablet but not post as it refuses to recognise my password for MSE. Don't ask me why. The reason has defeated greater minds than mine. So don't think I've abandoned you and I might just send a few postcards to the wee ones whilst I'm away since they like getting mail.
Take care. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
I'm not sure of the dates TF but all 3 of mine started Reception full time in the September the year they turned 4 and all of them turned 5 6 months into reception.
I hope you have a lovely break away

In your position I think I would definitely take small out of school. My DS wasn't 5 until the April and because of this he didn't have to officially start school until the following September. I thnk it would be after Easter for your small wouldn't it as that would be th first term after her birthday? I don't post much here but have lurked for some time and you sound more than capable of home schooling if it was something you decided to go with and school will always be there to go back to if need be.Change the way you see things and the things you see will change0

Yeah DFD She doesn't legally need to be in full time education until the term after her 5th birthday which is Easter. However the intake for Reception for her she started Sept 18.
