  • I have no choice PB I think we will struggle tomorrow to all be ready and out the house for 8.30am :o Especially looking decent and not like we've rolled straight out of bed and onto the school run :rotfl:

That's me going to work every day! :rotfl: :o

I miss mine when they're not here as well but I'm also glad to have the house back to myself . I really do miss the lazy mornings though. We're night owls here and struggle with early rises. :o

Hope all the DC's have a good first day back. x
  • Go for the home tuition I work in education and I have said for years wish I had home educated. Some good teachers but a lot of poor ones. Also school isn't always the best place for a lot of students. My son has just taken gd out very bright but bored so becomes naughty. Teachers say way ahead so dont know what to do with here. Happy to give advice if you need it. Quiting teaching this morning month had enough of so called education system. Take care your doing great xx

    Bank balance £78.24*

    Food budget £15** (£1.62 spent)

*bank balance. Includes £88 I didn't have/expect when I did the budget So over the next 6 weeks £12.50 a week extra. (after paying the £13.66 to credit card)

**Food budget is now £17 a week going forward :) Much healthier than the £5 it was :)

Credit card statement in. Was produced Friday and I missed the email :o Interest took me £13.66 over limit again so have paid this which I think covers the min payment but now I will be overlimit again next month when the £12 charge for going over the limit and interest goes on :o

    Morning :)

Very wet and miserable here! It's still quite dark too!

Smalls in school, youngest was so upset :( It makes me feel like a horrid Mum leaving her :o But I know she will be okay ;)

I need to nip to the Dr's, chase OT and do some bits of cleaning before the neighbours little one comes over. I promised youngest I'd make her a gingerbread so I will need to do that too. Not sure what to do for dinner either. Something with sausage or mince :rotfl:

Hope you all have a wonderful day

Morning Wannabe :) We struggled to get moving this morning and DS went to school in the dark.

Glad to hear DD is well enough to go into school, even if she's not that keen :o

Sat here having a brew thinking about what to do next. At least I don't have to think about what we're eating tonight, we're off to Mums. Unfortunately, it's not a regular event - probably happens about once a year, but that means I've only got 364 meals to make now :rotfl:

Have a great day. Hope the smalls come out of school happy. Good luck with the childminding. x

In the end I didn't need to childmind. He went to work with her :rotfl:

At least it means I got all my jobs done. I think we will have pasta bake tonight. Just realised the date on a jar I was given by someone is Dec 18. So will use that up and it's quick and easy because I'm sure they'll all be tired!
