Having been awake since 5.35am when DS woke with cramp and then wanted to get up to see if the elf had arrived (our elf arrives the night the tree goes up) be glad you don't have that Christmas visitor!
I see so many creative ideas with the Elf but half the time we forget to do something and have a panic on doing something before DS wakes up! We bought a 99p etcher sketch this year so messages from Santa will feature big. DS favourite was when the Elf ransacked the drawers in his advent calendar and there were drawers and chocs everywhere!
I pinched your activity advent calendar idea last year and DS loved it and asked for it again this year. We don't do something every day as I am sometimes away with work or we are too busy to fit in in doing other stuff but on those days he gets an extra chocolate.

Morning

Thank you Teafor2 I will have a look in Wilkos in town. I never think of there because its right in the town centre. I am quite lucky they only really ask for one thing. They will get books and maybe something to wear too although I might wait until after Xmas if the budget doesn't stretch to this.
Thank you for stopping in Xspender. I feel glad about the Elf after seeing everyone's antics on social media already :rotfl: Lovely to hear DS enjoys the activity list. While ours is everyday some are just things we do anyway as we have appointments and things on.

Thank you Lucky I'm not sure where our Ikea is I will have a look. At least I have options now of one that won't break the budget.

Smalls salt dough decorations are cooling then they can paint them this afternoon. We are currently watching the Greatest Showman (again
) I adore this film.
I have a bit of ironing to do and I need to put everything together for school tomorrow. They need their nativity costumes and DS needs his football kit and DD1 needs her swim kit etc. Could do with baking some sweet stuff for pack lunches too. Need to remember to pick up 4 disposable drinks for pack lunches too. Youngest needs a throw away lunch Wednesday and then all 3 of them on Thursday.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Evening,
Not a NSD. £45 handed over to school
No other spends though. We all sat and had dinner together tonight and discussed birthdays (it's not even Xmas yet *rollseyes*)
Youngest went back to school today and is so tired she's took herself off to bed leaving me to have a cuppa in peace. Missed her though
Have stay and play tomorrow with her £2 but no other spends planned good job really as I'll be back down to my last £3 after paying school the £2 tomorrow :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well
