Morning
Up bright and early this morning. The sun is still shining. It's still really cold though!
Soup for lunch, roast for dinner. It is Sunday after all :rotfl:
Smalls back to school tomorrow. Feel like it's been a bit boring for half term but they have done something every day. DS is out today with my Sister to get his Birthday gifts. Just waiting for her to collect him.
Today won't be a NSD need to get some grey paint and more PVA glue for the castle project.
Have meal planned for the rest of the week so that's organised.
An old friendship has had a new spark of life this last week. I'm very cautious though and worried about it all going wrong“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
You sound chirpy this morning. I was also up bright and early but OH had moved the clock back on purpose (don't ask) so it was actually half past five!!
Trust your instincts with your friend, they are lucky to know such a determined lady!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I feel alot better today
I feel happy too which makes me worried for when the next dip will come. I think I still need to discuss the up and downs being so up and so down rather than a 'middle' But we'll take the happy for now
DS is away out now so just the girls to entertain.
The cleaning's done and washing/ironing caught up with.
Might let the girls bake cakes/biscuits so there's snacks made again.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
And its nearly time to end Feb goals and start on March
The weeks are flying by.
Although I'll be glad this time next month all the birthdays and things will have been done and not need worried about for another 12 months“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Well, that sucks about the court costs but looking at the figures you should have the CT arrears paid off in a year and then you can throw the CT money at the rent arrears taking it down from 10 years to pay off to 3 years, which is massive. :j
And that's not counting any extra debt-busting you manage to do once you are back on your feet properly, so I imagine that will go down even further! :T
Don't worry about your spends - they all sound necessary (at this point I count Diet Coke as necessary to get you through).
You're doing just fine...do the minimum you can to get through until you are better and then worry about doing more.
When you don't need his help so much, perhaps you can also talk to your ex about contributing to the court costs. I would wait until then, though.
Keep on keeping on...you're doing brilliantly! :A
Also, it's nice to hear about a friendship for you...sounds like it could improve the quality of your life no end. Enjoy!Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Well done on the 5lb off
Good luck with the reignited old flame, just take it step by step, no need to rush headlong into anything xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thank you
I'm happy with 5lb off however there's still at least another 7 to follow it! Amazing how quickly it piles on when things slow down/change
It all feels a lot more settled now I know the arrangements are sorted for at least another 12 months. Hopefully in 12 months the numbers will be much better.
The old friend will be kept at arms length for now. It would be nice if it turns into a true friend again. We'll see.
Got some more bits done. Just waiting on the bedding drying too then that can be done. Girls are painting the castle and making a mess
Think they can get straight into the bath when it's done! So we can all have an early night.

Sorry I've been quiet. Having difficulty getting back into a routine plus leaving the boy for nearly 5 weeks was not a good idea. You really don't want to know about the washing/ironing.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
I just downloaded a free pedometer on to my phone for steps. I am glad you are feeling happier. Do you find your moods are seasonal at all?0
