Before I got my Fitbit I had a basic pedometer I put in my sock or pocket that I synced with an app on my phone. It did the job. Although we won't talk about the day it shot out of my sock at work and slid underneath a cupboard. I had to lay on the floor with an 18 inch ruler and fish it out. Caused much mirth and merriment for my workmates :)

I think an app on your phone will suffice for your needs. Glad to hear you are sounding more upbeat.

I have a phone app. It isn't reliable though because I can't always carry my phone.

FB I don't think it's seasonal although it maybe a factor. They are totally unpredictable and the only thing guaranteed is that there will be a really low after a really high. Never just an 'okay'

Another new week! The week that brings DS' birthday. Then Youngest's next week!

For the first time it what feels forever all 3 smalls are in school at the same time! The house is weirdly quiet this morning .. not sure I like it :rotfl:

I have some cleaning to do while pottering around. Might make some leftovers into soup so they don't get wasted. Plus it's the right weather for soup not salad! It's freezing! and keeps trying to snow.

    Have a good day all

    :)

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I feel a bit of a cheat keep posting when I'm not focusing 100% on busting the debt down :o

This is one of the things that helps me more reading other people's diaries - that sometimes life just has to happen, and sometimes we want to spend on other things (within reason).

If everyone's diary was simply how they are paying everything off, I think it would be demotivating as I'd feel a failure. I like hearing that you can still clear debt and have a bit of a life, that is doesn't all have to go on hold just because you have debt.

    Thank you :)

Youngest had a good morning and is now having a nap. I got the cleaning done and soup is bubbling away. Even managed to get the ironing done. Amazing what can be done in 3 hours without small ones 'helping'

The new council tax bill is on my account.

Shows the outstanding as £2455.67 - this years payment plan hasn't gone on but I don't really follow it anyway and just pay it off to the nearest pound. I don't like it not being easy to remember.

In light of that I paid the £5.67. - £2450 left. (£1325 is 'debt' it's just easier to keep it together with this years bill to keep track. It's like this on my online account so makes it easier)

    So
    Council Tax £2450 (£5.67 paid)
    Rent £3040 (£2.28 paid)

Going to try and do bits of overpayments where I can. Need to get focused! It will be much easier once the birthdays are done though.

    Evening :)

Smalls had pulled pork, rice and veg for dinner. Uniforms are done and tomorrows lunches. Just waiting for their bath to fill then they can be dunked in, read too and into bed.

We have finished homework projects (castle and a turtle) but I need to think about what dress up they will use on Friday. Youngest won't dress up so will just go in uniform.

The last of DS's birthday gifts arrived today so that's one thing less to worry about. Now onto youngests I have the majority just some playdoh to get I think.

Have some plans for mothers day gifts the smalls can make for my Mum and they can make a card. At least it keeps that at no cost. Her birthday is the 16th and that will probably be homemade card/gift and maybe something baked.

Easter we don't really do anything. I will get them a small egg and give them some spends for while we are away. We will do the free Easter related activities on site at the holiday.
