Hope you are ok. Annoying about the court fees.

  • Morning

Lot's of phone calls where done yesterday.

My main focus on debt busting is now

    Council tax £1350 - £26 a week
Rent Arrears £3067.28 - £25 a week. *This now includes the court cost £1320*

Pretty much everything else is okay now anyway and just ticking along.

Oh crumbs, court costs really are hefty aren't they? Is Ex-OH not paying towards this? (Sorry if I've missed anything here, but my impression was that this was from when you were together, and his debts are now his not yours. Or are the court costs 'jointly and severally'? I know he's not the best payer.)

I know you will soon make a significant dent in those sums, though - you have done amazingly so far.

  • Yeah I sent it back last week. I think the dating on this letter though means it was sent before they'd have got the income and expenditure. I offered £26 a week :o

The rent arrears payment has doubled what the court order is. I don't want to add more court fees on though going through court again.
