Good morning everyone
Thankyou for my forum awards.
Well today the list will be:
unpack, wash and set up my new kitchenaid
select ten items in my wardrobe which I can donate to CS.
reorganise the store of pre bought gifts I have. (I buy when reduced and use throughout the year)
select ten treats I have already bought to donate to the food bank for Christmas. e.g. chocolates, selection packs, special biscuits,
start to plan a small Christmas hamper for a random act of kindness.
Start to plan route for sticking pound coins on supermarket trollies for random acts of kindness.
start to address and stamp Christmas cards I have written ready for posting.
Begin making candy cane mice to hang from my Christmas gift bags.(depending on how many I make I will leave a few here and there to be discovered by my litle visitors)

monnagran & -taff, thanks for the suggestions. Had to look up ‘harissa’ but it is now on my shopping list :T I did manage to rescue the pumpkin soup :T Added paprika, ground black pepper & some saut!ed (in the pan which we cooked last night’s dinner) baby potatoes - delicious
monnagran, maybe it should be the ‘bedroom bewilderer’ :rotfl:
Highland Fling, your list gave me a warm glow - what wonderful things to do :T Random acts of kindness - what a wonderful person you are :A
Damp & dreary today, so very grateful that I didn’t have to go out :T
DH has filled the bird feeders including the fat ball feeder which was empty after 36 hours:eek:
He has also re-hung the new peanut feeder in the tree so that the squirrels cannot get at it. Within 2 minutes of re-hanging there was a very annoyed squirrel - he couldn’t reach :rotfl: DH has also emailed the co. that sent the new fat log holder - it was broken  He is about to wash down the bathroom walls - bright yellow - quick coat of white then a sky blue coat of paint. Nothing fancy or time consuming as 2019 will be the year of the New Bathroom
I have disinfected & scrubbed clean the two water bowls so the birds, squirrels & foxes have fresh water. Also trimmed & sliced the other cavalo nero - bagged & frozen, as well as chopping, bagging & freezing the stale sourdough for croutons. Managed to rescue the very bland pumpkin soup - liberal dose of paprika, some black pepper & added saut!ed lo new potatoes from last night - tasty. Am currently binge watching The 4400 - 5 episodes every Saturday & am about to carry on knitting.
The green beans have been added to the chicken & chorizo casserole which is now heating up (but I have a memory like a sieve  I was supposed to be using the other swordfish steak to make a pasta meal)
Just tried to feed the fox but ended up screaming because someone accidentally let out their dog which went haring after the fox & ended up around my feet barking like mad. I knew the dog wasn’t going to hurt me but years ago I was bitten by a pit bull & so had a flash back
Hopefully the fox will return

Progress on weekend list:
KitchenAid now has pride of place in kitchen.
more than ten items selected for CS. (some still with labels on. I should hang my head in shame)
I will drop them off today.
home "gift store" tidied and organised.
Christmas cards written, stamped and posted.
Bag full of biscuits and chocolates ready to put in as a donation to food bank.
Pound coins and sellotape ready for supermarket trolleys. (Whenever I visit supermarket I never return a trolley for the pound coin.Just leave it to give someone a wee surprise)
Will buy some goodies for the little hamper today.
Thankyou Mrs. SD for your kind words. I love the idea of Random Acts Of Kindness and have been doing so all my life, as my mother did before me. They don't have to be grand gestures just little tokens. I can assure you it benefits the giver as well as the recipient.
Didn't manage to make the candy cane mice.
Did read some of my book. Will probably take longer than the week to read this one.0 -
