Thanks Gem, let's hope it's the last time!!!0

Just make sure you've got a good budget with enough leeway to splash out now and again and cover emergencies. That seems to be the trickNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I'm pretty much organised with lots of things and I've had nearly everything for Christmas apart from some of my daughters presents. I've got £500 christmas savings coming out in December which I'm hoping to be able to save as well. I feel really relieved that I saw the lightbulb before things got too bad. I can't believe how stupid I was to get in the same mess again. I'm still going to post on here though because I still want to keep to the MSE ways and the last time I stopped posting I turned to the credit cards!!!0

You'll be alright honey......good idea to stick with MSE though, I think I will be doing the same when I am debt free as well!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Well can you believe it, we're into November. Not very much to report moneywise, still trying my hardest to stick top my budgets. Even tiled the kitchen myself yesterday to save some money and it turned out fabulous.
Got a few people coming to my house this week to look through the books I tried to sell last week in car boot sale, hopefully get rid of a few of them and make some money as well.0 -
I was well impressed when I read of the "what have you done that is dfw" thread yesterday about your wall tiling! Really impressive. :T
I hope you sell some more books - every bit helps eh?
What's going on with that money coming through to clear things? I see from your signature there are still balances. Hope it comes through soon so you can start afresh.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi there LA, I've paid off the mint card but not the Asda one yet. Am waiting for my statement to come and that'll be well and truly gone! Will have to update my signature. That'll be a job for tonight!0

Luckily I had my second lightbulb moment before I'd done too much damage. Have had the cheque today from the Bonds £1600 so I've got enough to pay off both the cards. Will pay it in tomorrow and once it has cleared I'll be debt-free again.....
Hey you're a good un GR.:D Now reading this is making me sit up and think 'yes it can be done' but...I'm not as motivated as you. Well I am sometimes and then all good intentions just dissappear.
Hope everything is still rosy on the 'romance' side of things.x
