I had the boots voucher last time, I went for the Dorothy Perkins one this time. It'll come in handy for somebody's Christmas gift!0

That's very true!
I am afraid I am too selfish with my vouchers to give them away! (Blush!)
There's always something I need so I hog them all to myself....Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hey don't feel bad about it. You treat yourself. If I remember rightly the boots voucher I spent on some anti-wrinkle cream for myself! At least your treating yourself and it's not costing you anything.0

Today I've come home to an acceptance form from Birmingham Midshires for £50 refund on my mortgage exit fees. I'll be signing that pretty quick and getting it back into the post to them. Luckily this mortgage was in my sole name so it's all mine!0

Jobs for today include: writing to alifax, Citi-cards and Argos and asking them to close my accounts. I'll only have the Asda and Mint cards left with balances on them and once I get the bonds money, they'll be gone.0

This sounds like you're doing so well - it really is these little things adding up, isn't it. You've made short work of things since your 2nd lightbulb moment!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Luckily I had my second lightbulb moment before I'd done too much damage. Have had the cheque today from the Bonds £1600 so I've got enough to pay off both the cards. Will pay it in tomorrow and once it has cleared I'll be debt-free again.....0
