Not a bad week at all. Have managed to transfer another £18.77 into the ISA this morning. Can't believe I've actually got money left over after Christmas. Keep thinking that I've miscalculated somewhere but I've checked and re-checked and everything appears to be in order. Probably could have saved another £15 this week but it was my friends birthday and she's been really good to me so I have to get her a gift. Another cheap night in tonight (still drinking the Christmas alcohol) so there's another saving.0

I'm so pleased for you GR. It must feel great to be debt free and have money left over to save. Well I was up still up at 3.15am this morning scribbling down my plan to be debt free by April/May this year, like in four months ish  You would laugh if you saw my manic scribblings...I'm going to post it in my diary and add to it so there may be lots of ramblings in it.
You really inspire me and your positive posts have certainly given me the motivation.
Cheers GR:beer: Here's one from me for tonight

Thanks Dizzy. It really is a great feeling to have money in the bank. It's not an awful lot but it's enough to allow me to sleep at night. Am so done with the lying awake at nights and worrying about money. Don't get me wrong I'm not rolling in it now, I really need to build up my emergency fund but I feel that I'm getting there.
Had a new catalogue through the door yesterday and today I wrote out an order from the company - then I thought - hellI don't need a black velour tracksuit and ripped the order up and threw the catalogue away. I think I'm starting to get nervous about spending money again.
Am going to find your diary now and catch up with what you've been up to x0 -
I've not been on my diary thread yet...I only left the computer for a few seconds and son jumped on it...I love that about the tracksuit, you do start questioning everything, which isn't always a bad thing.
Yesterday morning my deodorant was almost empty, sprayed one arm and just had enough for the other, but the nozzle was pointing the wrong way and I missed. The first thing I thought was 'how much was that spray worth'...maybe that's going too farhee hee.
Going over to my diary now...see you there.

Well Camelot didn't make me a millionnaire last night so here I am going for another NSD again today. Oh well, what would I do with the millions anyway???0

Haven't had a bad day today, popped into Supermarket for a few odds and ends and spent less than £10. Didn't spend anything in work and even managed to scrounge tea at Mums.
Have still got that spare £100 in the bank. Hopefully if it's still there by the end of the month I'll transfer it into my ISA.0 -

Thanks Dizzy, I'm certainly going to try my best.
Had my NS&I book back through today and have earned myself a massive £33 in interest. I quite like this idea of banks actually paying me to keep my money. The NS&I account is one which I've built up since getting divorced, it's my megga emergency fund and one which I've never touched. I've only left the money there as my mum keeps the book and I know that I'll only get it back of her if a real major emergency occurs.
Not spend very much today either, had a busy day in work and not had much time to myself, as a result the vending machine will be running at a loss today.....0
