Have has a NSD today which is some kind of miracle. DS usually wants money all the time but today he's got his mates in and hasn't asked me for a penny.
Had lunch at mums, a little sleep after lunch, have had the asda delivery and have cooked some sausages. Don't know what I'm going to do with them but if the kids don't eat them I'll have them for my lunch tomorrow in a sandwich.
The weekend seems to have gone again. Can't wait until the weather gets a bit warmer and I can get out in the garden and clear another space and get some plants in. Went into town yesterday and they had an amazing selection of plants in Wilkinsons all reasonably priced as well. I'm hoping that now I'm taking my multi-vitamins I'll be full of energy and get a good bit done this year!!!
Have been doing some letters for my sister again offering her second token payment to her creditors. PayPlan can't kick in until June so she's got to keep on top of it until then. I think I'm the one whose keeping on top of it, she doesn't seems to worry now, that it looks as if its being taken care of.
I've decided that I'll help her until PayPlan get involved then I'm going to take a backward step. I've got enough stess of my own to deal with, never mind taking on hers as well.0 -
Have just sold a book on Amazon. Sales have slowed down now so I may have to look for more books to list.0

Oh no Monday again.....
Feel as if I've had no sleep whatsoever. Could have stayed in bed all day, if only. God fracture clinic today with DD so hope we have some good news there, then its onto work for me. Managed to list a good few books on Amazon last night so maybe my sales will pick up again. The only other money I've got to look forward to is the cheque from the Halifax. Hopefully that will come this week.
Hope you all have a good day x0 -
Have not felt 100% today. Can't put my finger on it just feel really sad. Have got home from work and logged onto my e-mails and I've sold 3 books on Amazon so that was a nice surprise. Have also had a letter off the Halifax telling me my mortgage payment is going down on 1st May and also letter off Post Office telling me my £50 cashback will be paid into my account over the next few weeks. That's cheered me up a little.
Have had to raise a query with mutual points this evening. Signed up to Scottish Friendly Assurance and they were offering 7000 points, now I've already got 3,000 points so this would have earned me a nice bit of cashback but it don't appear to have tracked! Hopefully they'll resolve it as the transaction was completed wholly on-line so once that's done I can cash that in. Don't think I'm going to use Mutual any more after this.
Still no cheque off Halifax today, can't believe how long these things take!0 -

Well she's not been discharged from clinic yet, they want to see her in 6 months time. She badly damaged the growth plate in her wrist and it could affect the growth so they want her back in 6 months to make sure both arms are the same size. Its a bit worrying but the doctor told me that theres a good chance it'll be OK. Initially when she broke the arm they said it was one of the worse breaks he had seen and that she wouldn't have the full use of her hand/wrist. This was a big worry because she's left handed and this was her left hand. However, she's had intensive physiotherapy and 3 months down the road her bad arm is almost as strong as her good arm. She can do the things they said she wouldn't be able to do so I'm hoping that the growth will be fine.
Was really pleased with the consultation but I'd set my mind on her being discharged (because I thought all was well) so I think I was a bit disappointed that she has to go back. I suppose its better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks for asking ZTD. I should have put it in my thread but all this happened at 9.00 this morning and you know what its like, this morning feels like a week ago0 -
Thanks for update, shame shes having to go back but take that as a positive thing that she is getting good treatment.:j0

Good morning all. Still feel as if I need more sleep! Got busy day today got to leave early and call to the Halifax, post office and cashpoint before work. Have already done packed lunches and washed the dishes.
Not had anymore sales on Amazon overnight, really thought that I'd get rid of a few more. Oh well, lets hope that a few more will sell whilst I'm at work. Wonder if I'll get the cheque off the Halifax today?????0 -
Managed to get all the jobs done before work this morning and then got to work at 10.00 only to be met with a phone call from the school. DD was unwell. So it was back home to pick her up and drop her off at my mum's!!!!!
Have had no post whatsoever today so an really disappointed with that. Where is my cheque off the Halifax? No sales on Amazon either. Bit of a failure of a day really.0
