Have had such a busy day today. Didn't even have a chance to post on my thread this morning. Got this afternoon off work and have done very little other than laze around with the cat (she was neutered this morning and she's feeling sorry for herself).

Have had the acceptance form off the Halifax, so I've signed that and got it ready to post off when I pop out later. I'll get a cheque issued as soon as they receive the form so fingers crossed it'll be soon.

    Hi GR
Hope your kitty is recovering well, bless her. A good excuse for lots of extrs cuddles.
I'm think you've done so well recently with your money saving, I wish I had your enthusiasm.
    How's work been, any developments?

Hi there Diz. Work still isn't fab but I don't feel too bad about it this week because I know the boss is listening hard for any of her outbursts. Saying that I dreamt last night that she'd wound me up so much that I stabbed her with my scalpel. I was using the scalpel yesterday and the thought must have been going through my mind then!!!

My money-saving this month has not been very good, I've just made up what I spent on the laptop. I keep thinking if I hadn't bought the laptop I would have lots more, but if I didn't buy the laptop I wouldn't be sitting here typing now and making money on Amazon so hopefully its paying for itself.....

I'm on a bit of a downer tonight. Have had words with ex hubby. I'm stll getting £105 per month less than the CSA have told him to pay me, yet whenever the kids phone him he's in the pub. It makes my blood boil. Whenever I mention it to him he just threatens to give up work and then I'll end up with nothing.

Have also had sister on the phone tonight because Abbey ae not happy with a £5 token payment towards her £15,000 loan. I really don't think she realises the seriousness of her debts. Theres no getting through to some people!

Anyway I've moaned enough. How are things with you Diz, has your son settled into his little batchelor pad. I bet theres parties and beer flowing every night without the watchful eye of mum!

    Hi GR
Good to know work are at least taking it more seriously now. You'd better be careful the next time you're wielding your scalpel...:D
To recoup the money you spent on the laptap is a great achievement GR
Hope you get ex-hubby sorted. That would be a nice amount if you could get it off him.
Don't worry about your sis, you've done the best you can and been there for her when she needed it.
Not sure DS will be partying GR, he's having to work more hours for a few weeks, to pay the initial moving in fee £500 and then he pays £300 a month rent. He shares with a couple who he works with, who seem really nice, so this might keep him on the straight and narrow. :D

  • GR please try not to let your Sis updet you too much. I know its harder typed than done. You are doing the right thing for her by supporting but ultimately she must do most herself. I have some experience of a troublesome sister but cant go into on this forum.

As for money saving to make up the cost of a lap top in a month is excellent :j so dont you dare feel you have underacheived:naughty: .

Thanks for the words of support girls, it does mean a lot to me.

Ex hubby phoned early this morning and apologised. Apparently the 'other woman' was listenng in on the conversation and she's so insecure he has to be nasty to me to make her feel good.........

Well its almost the end of the week and it's been a busy one for me. Can't wait for the weekend to come so I can chill out a bit.

Oh yes forgot to mention, I had a letter back from that claims place yesterday about the mis-selling of PPI on my old Welcome loan. Apparently I've got a case and they are looking into it for me. Now wouldn't that be a nice little surprise if I got something back from them?

Hope you all have a good day and I'll catch you later.

Very little happened today. No exciting mail or e-mails but I managing to still transfer some money into the ISA. Get my Tax Credits tomorrow and Child Benefit on Tuesday so I'm hoping I'll get some of that transferred over as well.

Am going to chill out tonight.

Oh yes, have managed to sell another book on Amazon!
