Aw that's OK Diz.
Friday at last, I don't know why I'm saying at last, the weeks are flying by. Am a bit pd off with Asda at the moment. I done my shopping on-line last week and £61.05 was taken off my bank balance. My shopping arrived, some 2 and a half hours late and lots of things weren't delivered but they were'nt charged to my account. My bill therefore came to £48. Have checked my online banking this morning and my available balance is £61.05 lower than my actual balance!!!!! They've already taken the £48 out of my account but appear to still have a 'hold' over the £61.05. Don't quite know what to do. I'm hoping it'll write itself. In the old debt days this would have freaked me out because I would have been depending on that money for shopping for this week! Also my tax credits have gone down £6 per week until I update my annual review (which incidently I still haven't had) so its not started off a very good morning.
Hopefully the day will get better but hey, if it doesn't its Saturday tomorrow0 -
What awful weather today. By the time I got to work I looked as if I'd been dragged through a hedge. My hair was everywhere. The wind has been strong I'm sure the building was shaking. Have got home to unexciting mail so had a nice long soak in a hot bath. AM now acting like a child and having a bowl of ice-cream for my tea.
Have done my shopping on-line (and used the £5 free delivery voucher I had). The money Asda took off me last week has still not showed as a credit on my account
Have also sold another PS2 game on Amazon. Don't think I'll make a tremendous amount but its another space on the bookshelf. Am going to get that packed up tonight so I can post it off tomorrow.
Have also had a relative over today and he's planted some trees in the garden. They've been growing in pots since last year and really needed to be planted. I did try the other weekend but the ground was so hard I couldn't dig the hole. Well they're in now and they look fab, can't wait for them to grow!
Have got a real weird feeling in my tummy today its like something exciting is going to happen over the weekend. I've got no plans so can't quite work out what it means. Oh well, you never know!0 -

If it's anything like other weekends it'll be the washing, ironing and cleaning!!!!!0

Well nothing exciting happened so far, apart from going to bed at 10 last night and not getting up until 10 past 10 this morning. I've really burnt myself out this week and needed to catch up on some sleep.
The £61 is still not showing on my account - I'm getting obsessed about it now.
I wonder what joys the postman will bring today. There used to be a time when I dreaded him coming, now I can't wait. How sad is that?
Not got anything major planned for today other than the usual weekend cleaningWill be popping back and forth on here to catch up with everyone though.

Have telephoned asda about the £61. Apparently they put a reserve on my card for this amount as this was what my order cost. However, as there was quite a few out of stock they only charged me £48 and because there was a big difference in price they took the £48 without releasing the reserve on the £61. They are going to arrange to release the funds now and should be in my bank account shortly.
Have also had Sis here again today and she's managed to rack up £485.00 worth of charges since Jnauary. Have just done a letter for her asking to get the funds back. As she's in the process of starting upa DMP she's classed as a hardship case and the banks have got to look at these cases prior to the outcome of the court case. Hopefully she'll get some of it back and she can close her account with them then.0 -
Have just been through my freezer and can't believe the amount of food there. Have just done a meal plan for next week and am not buying anything else frozen until it's mostly eaten. Am going to concentrate on buying odds and ends that I can add to the food I've already got.
Have just used up some veg and some chicken and done a curry for tea tonight. Kids not fussed on curry but I'm hoping that I can persuade them to have some with some frozen chips.
Have defrosted a pile of sausages for tomorrow. Hopefully I can cook them up and have them for our tea, though I don't know what we'll have with them. Hopefully the kids will have them in hot dog rolls. Any left over can go in my sandwiches on Monday with some branston pickle.
Got lots of finger food there also, mini quiches etc so I think they can be used up on lunches this week as well.0 -
Sounds like a good plan. It scary how many meals can be made out of odds and ends left in the freezer/cupboard for a while. Family are getting spag bog this week whether they like it or not!:j0

Have just found 2 hot cross buns so that'll either be my supper tonight or breakfast tomorrow morning. Why do we insist on filling up the freezer then spend time eating out of it to clear it. It doesn't make sense!0

Morning all. Have just finished an absolute mountain of ironing. Cant believe how many clothes we get through in a week!
Not doing anything today other than waiting for the asda delivery and lunch at mums. Have made a list of jobs I want to get sdone and so far have only done one of the four jobs. I just can't be bothered!
Am going to try and finish the book I'm reading today so I can list it on Amazon tonight, whether I'll get it done is another thing but I will certainly try my best.0
