Thanks Dizzy. Have started the day very well, done some ironing, got some washing in and managed to get DS out of the house on time. DD is proving more difficult but we've still got half hour to go yet.

Wouldn't it be nice if I could claim back the PPI. It amounts to £950 but when I approached Welcome they were far from helpful. They told me I had to know the exact time and date of the telephone application so they could check their records and they wanted me to pay them to do that. The loan was paid off in April 2006 and that's all I know! Would love to be able to add that amount to the ISA.

Just send them a £10 for your data protection records access, and then you'll get all of them. Then add the £10 to the amount you claim back - as it's a reasonable cost. Every time they charge something, you just add it back to the amount you're claiming, as it's a cost you've incurred.

Thanks ZTD I tried that back last year but they told me I had to know the exact time and date of the telephone application. I argued with them until I was blue in the face and decided to give up. I then saw companies advertised that calim back the PPI and I thought I'd give them a go. I know I'd have to pay them commission if they get anything back but I failed to do it on my on so whatever I get is a bonus.

Have managed to see a book set for £10 on Amazon. Not bad considering.....

Don't think theres anything else to report for today. Going to have another early night tonight as I've not stopped today.

Good morning everyone. End of the week again. I've not set myself any targets regarding saving money this month and I feel as if I'm at a loose end. I am doing well will my grocery challenge and will hopefully keep the price down when I do my shopping online tonight. The great thing about shopping online is that you have a running total so I keep an eye on what I'm spending, rather than get to the checkout and have a heart attack like I normally do in store.

Hope you all have a good day.

Hi everyone, have done the online shopping £60.01. Not too bad I suppose, about £5 was for my mum.

Going to try and have a cleaning day today, that way I won't spend any money. Have not done too badly so far have done 2 lots of washing, washed dishes and mopped kitchen floor. Have been helping my sis out with her DMP as well, Abbey have agreed to accept £5 per month on the credit card and Asda loans have agreed to accept £5 per month until the DMP is set up. I think she's feeling happier about her financial situation, but whether she's learnt her lesson is another thing!

Amazon sales have been a bit slow lately so I've listed another 6 books in the hope that it'll clear some space for me and make me some more money. Have got another £28 being paid into my account today so I can't really grumble that I'm not making much from it.

Just sitting here eagily awaiting the postman now to see what joys royal mail are going to bring me today.

    Have a good day

    HI GR
You sound really busy. I've no motivation at the moment.
I'm sure your amazon sales will pick up soon.
Don't forget to have a rest this weekend.

Thanks Diz, not feeling very motivated this afternoon. Have spent most of my time on here! It keeps me out of trouble though.
